"Yo Jay you think you can give me some drills to get my feet right?"
"Yeahh, let me handle some business first okay?."
I got a call on my phone to come to the office.
"What's up Malik?"
"There's a lady in your office..."
"A lady in my office? You know no-one is to be in my office unless I'm present."
"Yeahh Jay I know but she insisted."
"Any idea who she is?"
"She said her name is April Williams."
I froze in place and looked at Malik for confirmation. He didn't take his eyes off me.
Mrs. April? The hell she doin here?
"Thank you Malik. I got it from here."
"No problem Jay."
I slowly made my way to my office trying to quickly gather my thoughts. I looked around to make sure office security was where their suppose to be, they were.
"How you doin Mrs. April?"
I left the door open and took a seat at my desk.
"Im fine Jayson and you?"
"Im doing pretty good. How'd you know I was here?"
"Well this place is the talk of the town. I hear your doing good things with these kids, teenagers and even some adults. Its awesome how you named this place after your father. Jeffrey Michael Williams Recreation Center."
I got chills at the way she said my fathers name.
"Why are you here Mrs. April?"
She got up and shut the door. There are cameras in my office little do she know.
"You told Josiah social worker that he has a sister name Jasmyne Williams and recommended she get custody of him correct?"
"Yes I did with the help of someone else."
"You told Jasmyne and Josiah what happen correct?"
"Yes mamn I did."
"Why?"
"Cause that's what my father wanted. He came to see me the night before you killed him. He wrote them letters also. I completed the mission he put me on."
"Boy you are your fathers son."
She looked at me with solid eyes. I didn't catch her blink not one time.
"I did not want my son to live with Jasmyne. If she's anything like her mother he has no chance of being raised right."
"Hold on now Mrs. April. That's my sister, don't disrespect my sister. She's a very bright young woman. Josiah loves her to death, Jah'Nova loves her to death. Don't talk down on my sister."
"If anything happen to my son while he living with that girl I'm coming for you and her."
Mrs. April got up to leave just to open the door and see Josiah standing there with a red face from hell.
Little do she know, her son heard everything she just said and one person he don't play no games about is Jasmyne.
