Hadley sat on her bed as she placed clothes into her suitcase. She was leaving for Boston tomorrow morning and – as usual – she was doing last minute packing. She was folding the last of her clothes when her phone rang. “Hey babe,”
“Hey, what time am I picking you up tomorrow?”
She smiled and pulled out her plane ticket. Her flight was at eight, so she figured she’d get to Boston around twelve. “My flight’s at eight, so I say twelve?”
“I’ll be there.” Tyler yawned. “I miss you.”
Hadley giggled. “The feeling’s mutual.”
“So I was thinking,” Tyler started. “You don’t have to if you didn’t want to, but would you be against sitting up in the WAG box?”
“Why are you asking?” She laughed. “Should I be worried?”
He laughed. “No, I just didn’t want you to be uncomfortable.”
“That’s sweet,” she smiled. “But I think I’ll be fine.”
“I thought so,” he yawned again.
“Hey babe, I’ll text you later. You sound exhausted.” Hadley giggled as she sat on top of her suitcase so she could close it.
“Alright, I love you.”
“Love you too.” She ended the call and fell back onto the mattress of her bed as she looked up at the ceiling. Hadley hasn’t seen Tyler in nearly a month. Just the thought of seeing him made her stomach fill with butterflies. She couldn’t help feeling like she was fifteen-year-old girl again freaking out over a crush. Hadley looked at her the where a striped pink bag with ribbon handles sat with the words Victoria’s Secret etched on it in silver script. Biting her lip, she rolled off the bed and picked up the bag. She pulled out the lacy bra set and placed the articles on her bed. Hadley undid the zipper of her suitcase and placed the lingerie on top of her clothes. Without another thought, she closed the lid and zipped the suitcase closed for the last time. She was finally done packing.
