*Hey guys! This song Iridian sings is called "The Girl With the Red Balloon" by the Civil Wars. Pardon the somber melody of the song, but it suits the situation you know? Anyway please enjoy! I think this will be an interesting chapter...*

"Thirteen dwarves, a Halfling, and a girl with multiple lineages. Strange traveling companions, Gandalf." Elrond took a drink, looking around.

"These are the descendants of the house of Durin." Gandalf waved his hand. "Minus Ms. Iridian." He muttered. "They're noble decent folk. They're surprisingly concert." I looked around and watched Nori put something in his jacket, and Bombur stuffing his face, eating with his mouth open. I chuckled at Gandalf's statement. "They've got a deep love of the arts." He added.

Nori turned around, turning to the Elf maid that Kili had flirted with. "Change the tune why don't you? I feel like I'm at a funeral!" He cried, reaching into his ear.

"Did somebody die?" Oin said, looking around.

"Alright lads, and lassie," Bofur said, winking slightly. "There's only one thing for it." He got up from his seat. I glanced at Kili, to see him still eyeing the Elf maids. They're all high cheekbones and creamy skin. Not enough facial hair. To thin. The thought made me breathe raggedly again. I watched as Bofur got up, and stood on a stool.

"There is an inn, a merry old inn

beneath an old grey hill,

And there they brew a beer so brown

That the Man in the Moon himself came down

One night to drink his fill.

The ostler has a tipsy cat

that plays a five-stringed fiddle;

And up and down he runs his bow,

Now squeaking high, now purring low,

Now sawing in the middle.

So the cat on his fiddle played hey-diddle-diddle,

a jig that would wake the dead:

He squeaked and sawed and quickened the tune,

While the landlord shook the Man in the Moon:

'It's after three!' he said.

At some point everyone started to sing again. Even Fili and Kili. Only I didn't. Fili had moved to grab my hand. I held onto it like that was my sanity. Fili had saddened eyes, before turning back. Dwalin looked at me for a moment, before going back to singing. While singing, the dwarves began to throw food. Kili threw a roll at a maiden, making her turn around in surprise. My blood boiled. They threw more food at Bofur. When he finished, they all cheered. I got up from the table, walking off in search of my trousers, wanting to be away, my appetite very much gone. I felt the dwarves' eyes on my receding figure.

I asked a servant to point me toward the direction of the dwarves' quarters. They nodded, and I followed toward a series of bedrooms. I opened the doors, searching for my trousers. Cracking open two more, I finally saw them. I looked into the lamp lit room, and saw that they were placed in the room of the two brothers. I shook my head, and closed the door. I got out of the dress quickly, slipping on the trousers and my shirt. I sighed in relief. I pulled on my boots as well, considering they did not let me wear them. I folded the dress up, and I walked out once again. I felt tears well up again, and I swallowed them.
