"What's up, Dumbly?" I say, trying not to sound too tired. I hadn't had my caffiene yet! He chuckled slightly, then gave me a serious look
"Ms. Potter, I need you to tell me about your dream."
"Do I have to.." I yawned, "Can I have caffiene first?" He peered over his half moon spectacles and was obviously trying hard not to laugh.
"You are quite the interesting girl! If Poppy would allow it, then yes you may."
"Did I hear my name?" The young nurse came strutting back in from her office.
"Yes, you did," I said in my best Dumbledore impression, "now Poppy, I need you to get this girl, " I waved my hand above my head, "some caffiene. She obviously needs it to get rid of her post-sleep drowsiness. Thank you." I got a weird look for the nurse, while Dumbledore just laughed.
"You took the words right out of my mouth."
Poppy looked between me and him, then sighed. "I don't think it'll be safe... We don't know all of your allergies, especially after you fainted from a severe hazelnut reaction."
I put my hand to my forehead and looked shocked, "Oh... My... The hazelnut is making me... React! Dun dun duunnn!" That time, I got a glare. In response, I looked up at her with my puppy eyes.
"Oh, fine fine! Just stop making that... Ridiculous face!" I smiled sweetly and watched as she congered(don't know how to spell a simple word, oops) some black tea.
"Thank you!" I sighed as I took a long drink, "Although, I would have preferred coffee..."
"Are you an American?" She looked at me as if I was crazy. (Yeah, whuddup, playing with stereotypes!)
"Uhh... Yes...?" She huffed and walked away. I then turned and looked at Dumbledore.
"So, now that you appear to be quite awake, please tell me about your dream."
"Why can't you just use occlumency...? I know you can do it..." I mumbled. The professor looked at me, shocked that I knew of such a thing.
"H-how... Never mind." He regained his composure, "I would rather not, but if it is too much for you to recall the dream, I could..." He seemed to think about it, and then gave me a searching look.
I had been training against occlumency sense I was eight years old, and had learned the skill of blocking certain things from being seen. Like my feelings for a certain Black...
"You are quite talented, I see..." Dumbledore sat in wonder at my skills. "I must ask, though, where did you learn to block your mind?"
"A couple years ago, I started reading all about spells and such, and I came across occlumency. I learned how to control my mind from someone who wasn't trying to hard. If you really wanted to see my thoughts and such, it wouldn't take much to break the blocks."
"I see... Splendid, absolutely splendid. I think we may have to adjust your learning schedule... I think third year Defense Against the Dark Arts class shall be high enough, what do you think?"
"Yeah, that'd be so cool!" I replied excitedly.
"Now then, when you are done healing, you will find the necessary books and equipment will be in your dorm. I must get going now, thank you for the lovely chat."

The next couple of days went by slowly, and I kept checking the clock on the wall across from me for the time. James, Sirius, and Remus came and visited as often as Pomfrey would allow, and I got homework from them.
Finally, Pomfrey allowed me to go out, at dinner time on the third day. It was a shock for all the other students, and I ate and had fun. By the time we went back to our dorms, I was just about knocked out and walked upstairs.
As Dumbles said, the books I needed were right on my bed. I put them in my trunk and fell asleep to the quiet whispers of my dorm mates.
