A Tale of Two Stans

*Priya's POV*

"Finally! After these long years of waiting you're actually here!" Stan smiles warmly as he walks towards the man wearing all black.

"Brother!"

Suddenly, the man punches Stan hard in the face.

"Ow! What the heck was that for?" Stan yells while rubbing his face in pain.

"This was an insanely risky move restarting the portal! Didn't you read my warnings?!" Stan's brother questions while narrowing his eyes at Grunkle Stan.

"Warnings, schmarnings. How's about a thanks from saving you from what looks like to be, I don't know, some kind of sci-fi, sideburn dimension." Stan says as he crosses his arms.

"Thank you? You really think I'm gonna thank you for what you DID SIX YEARS AGO!" Stan's brother yells in aggravation.

"What I did?! Why you ungrateful...." Stan trails off as he throws a punch at his brother which he quickly dodges. Stan's brother then tackles Grunkle Stan to the floor.

"Ugh, don't expect me to go easy on you just because you're family!" Stan grunts as he struggles to get free. The twins and I exchange looks as Mabel walks over to them while Dipper helps me stand up.

"Hey, hi. Mabel here." Mabel says as she walks up to the two brothers as they stop fighting and look at her.

"Quick question, WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!" Mabel cries out.

"Stan, you didn't tell me there were children down here. And some kind of large, hairless gofer." Stan's brother says as he looks at Soos.

"Haha, I get that a lot!" Soos chuckles happily.

"And...." Stan's brother trails off as he looks over at me. His eyes widens as he takes a few step back, staring at me as if I had three heads.

"P-P-Priya? I-is that you? Y-you're a-actually here?" He stutters out in complete disbelief. I raise an eyebrow in confusion as I stare at the old man.

How does he know my name? Pretty sure Stan didn't introduce us to him yet.

"Uh yeah, I'm Priya." I tell him as everyone but Stan's brother gives me confused looks. The man walks towards me with his eyes still wide and tears forming in the corners, still in disbelief.

"You've grown so much...." He whispers as he hugs me tightly. My eyes widen in confusion as I look at everyone who also seemed confused as well. After a few seconds of processing everything, I slowly hug back awkwardly and pat his back lightly. He quickly lets go and takes a few steps back while he frowns sadly at me.

"Oh yeah I forgot....." I hear him whisper as he looks at me with sadness.

"Um....s-sorry about that." He laughs nervously and rubs his neck awkwardly.

"I-I can't believe it. You're the author of the journals!" I hear Dipper say as I look over to see his eyes sparkling.

"You've read my journals?" Stan's brother ask as he takes out his #1 journal from his coat pocket.

"I just haven't read them, I lived them! I- I don't know what to say I have so many questions!" Dipper says rapidly while breathing hard.
