I sat with Dan in the back of the room.
To bad for her Quinn and Bunni had a different first but I was honestly happy that I at least knew someone.
Suddenly I realized she was watching me.
"What?" I asked.
She shrugged "You just look... Well different."
I blushed.
What did that mean? Was she making fun of me!?
She quickly frowned "Not in a bad way!"
I laughed "I never thought that." I lied.
She nodded and laughed "Good."
As the teacher talked about the class I began to doodle on my paper and I smiled to myself.
This was the first school I went to where I met someone gay and someone trans. At my old school that'd be absolutely forbidden. Not to mention that Bunni's a satanist.
"What's the smile for?" Dan whispered.
I shrugged "Just this school is just the thing I need."
We whispered back and for until the bell rang, then she and I went different ways.
Time for second period.
