It was eight in the morning when I woke up. I kept looking at my phone just waiting for Ashley to call me. I've never seen anyone this beautiful in my life. I wanted to make Ashley mines. Mines forever. I sighed as I looked at my clothes. What to wear? How should I have my hair, pulled back? Free? Short? I don't know why I was nervous all of a sudden. I guess I'm afraid he'll never call or things won't go right. I finally managed to settle for a black tank. Batman of course, black shorts and black converses with my shades to give off that more sexy side of me.  I smirked satisfied in the mirror. The ringing and buzzing of my phone startled me, I raced to the phone to see an unknown number.

Ashley..I'm hoping.

I quickly answered and swallowed hard before answering.

"Hello?"

"Hello..good morning, Andy." I smiled hearing Ashley's voice. It was like biting into a delicious chocolate cake.

"Good morning, Ashley, I was starting to think you wouldn't call."

"I was a bit nervous," I smirked. 

"So anyway, where do you want to have breakfast?"

"I was thinking we can go to a local I know. Called 'Denny's."

"Oh, I've heard of them, so I'll meet you there?" I was raised to be a gentleman. I wasn't going to let the beauty walk or drive all the way there alone.

"Oh no, no. I can pick you up." 

"Are you sure? I can meet you there-"

"Ashley, I'm not going to harm you in any way if you think that. I know we only met last night and it feels a bit weird."

"I just prefer to meet you there..if that's ok for now." he said on the other line. I sighed mentally. 

"OK. I'll see you there in fifteen..goodbye."

"Bye."

I hung up and sprinted down the stairs to the car and drove off. My heart was going nuts. I felt like it was going to come out of my chest. When I finally got there, there he was, waiting in front of the Diner. I let out a deep breath before walking out. I gave him a bright smile taking off my shades. I could've sworn I saw a shade of pink on him. Damn, I'm good. 

"Hey," I greeted him. He smiled shyly waving back. 

"Hey.." He greets back.

"Let's go inside. I'm starving." I took Ashley hand and felt him go stiff. I gave him a warm smile and felt him relaxed a bit. I got us a small table by the window. A lady came by our table asking for our order....well mines.

"what can I get you?" she asked. I'd be stupid to not notice the extra she put into her words. I smirked at this. Sucks for these ladies that I'm gay.

"I will have the Ham and cheese omelette with bacon. " I said to the lady.

"Ok, I'll be back with your order." she was about to leave when I stopped her. "Excuse me, I'm not alone here." I pointed to Ashley who gave the lady a stare. She rolled her eyes and got out her pad. "Who do you want.

"I'll have the simple bacon and eggs with french toast." she nodded and walked away but giving me a small smirk.

"Well I guess your popular with the ladies." Ashley smirked.

"I guess....I'm not interested in that....I'm more into you."

"Andy..."

"I'm not saying that you should make a choice right away. Just know that I'll wait for you." I smiled.

"You're too beautiful to be all by yourself. That guy was wrong to cheat on you. I mean....look at you..." Ashley's face became more red and turned to the window.

"I like how the light brings out your eyes.."

"Here we go, the ham and cheese omelette for you hun...and here's your food." I saw a paper by my plate as the lady left. It had her lipstick on it. Haha.

"What's that?" Ashley asked.

"Her number," I crumbled it up and started eating into my food. I saw that Ashley's face was scrunched up as he ate.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"My food tastes kina funny.." I took a bit out of Ashley's food and he was right. It didn't taste good. I looked over at the lady that brought the food over here and walked over to her.

"Hey baby, I knew you-"

"The hell did you do?"

"..What?"

"You put something in the man's food...what was it?"

"I don't know what your talking about." she said.

"Is there a problem?" a man walked over to us who I'm guessing was the manager. 

"Yes there is! this lady out something in his food."

"He's lying." she said.

"You think I'm lying? taste it!" I put the plate in the mans face to have him taste it. he took a fork and spit it out.

"Patricia!"

"You can't just believe a random customer like this!" she yelled.

"You're fired!" he yelled. He turned to me and Ashley. "I am so sorry about this, no need to worry about paying." I nodded and turned to Ashley.

"How 'bout I take you to my place and cook...that sound better?"

"I don't know Andy...we barely know each other."

"Ashley I give you my word. I won't hurt you in anyway...I'm not that type of person."

Ashley finally agreed to come with me back to my place and have breakfast. When we got there, Ashley looked around the place and met my cat, Crow.

"Hey crow," I scratched him under the chin hearing him purr. 

"Nice kitty," Ashley said.

"Yeah...he's my little joy."

"So what would you like?" I asked walking into the kitchen. 

"Just toast,"

"Toast isn't gonna keep you full." I said.

"I'm not really that hungry."

"...OK if you're sure."

After eating, me and Ashley talked. I learned that he likes to sing and play the bass. I mentioned I sing as well as playing the guitar and piano. He was so amazing. At times Ashley's phone would go off and said it was that fool Jake. He ignored it which was better.  

"Thanks for today, Andy. I'm glad I hung out with you."

"Glad you gave me a chance....hope this can continue."

"It might." he smiled, making me smile. 

So from that day on, me and Ashley talked....went on more dates and pretty soon, we were boyfriend and boyfriend and day by day, I love Ashley more and more.
