Robin woke up the next day with a splitting headache. He rolled over slightly and immediately cringed when a streak of sunlight shone onto him, his eyes may have been closed but the light was still bright. Every move he made seemed to push him one step closer to throwing up. Luckily for him the bakery was shut today, it being a Sunday and all. He had known last night he'd have a headache tomorrow, but never imagined how bad it would be. He could hardly remember last night. As pictures popped up in his mind of people he suddenly stopped gene he remembered one person. She'd sat next to him at the bar and he...what had he said? He mulled it over several times but for the life of him couldn't remember.
Was I at least a gentleman? Or had I been so drunk out my mind I was a complete ass? Why can't I remember? Alcohol, Robin, alcohol is why you can't remember.
Eventually giving up he decided to turn away from the window and slowly open his eyes. Luckily drunk him was smart and left water on the bedside table.
Water! She ordered water and then...shit. Then I was an ass to her about why she only drank water. Then I said something along the lines of her loosening up. I was such an ass.
Just as his eyes were open enough he heard his phone go off. As he blindly reached for it on his bedside table it buzzed again. Once it was hovering above him in his unsteady hand, a risk he knew he could regret, he checked the time.
11:56
"What?" He mumbled, but even that noise was too much. Opening it up, once it was back on silent of course, he looked for the cause of the buzz.
S: Hi Robin, The school got in touch with me asking if I knew of any good bakeries for an upcoming fundraiser and I suggested you. Hope you don't mind forgot to tell you last night.
As happy as Robin was, he was definitely too hungover to care at this moment. It took him a while to even figure out that it was Mia and Suzy's mom. He went through his phone again looking for the cause for the other buzz, and luckily finding it was only a crappy email. Chucking his phone back down into the table he rolled over and sunk into the pillows, immediately dozing back off.
Regina awoke to drawers slamming and Daniel huffing.
"What happening?" She spoke groggily.
"Work called, need me into the stables early. Some stupid kid kicked a pony in the knee."
"That's awful!" She refused to look at him as her head was buried deep into pillows.
"I know, but don't worry I'll be back soon, see you later, babe." He leaned over and kissed her mess of hair and left as quietly as possible.
Regina rolled over and checked her phone, seeing she had two emails.
Check out your newest pins!
"Ugh." She rolled her eyes and immediately deleted it, she hadn't even been on Pinterest for months. It was the next emails subject that made her groan more.
Meeting
Staff meeting Monday @ 7:45
"Shit!" She hated morning meetings because she always got roped into doing crappy jobs because she was too exhausted to care. It happened with everything. She had to go set up the Christmas fair one year, then come and help tutor kids during her summer another. She swore if the school had good coffee these things wouldn't happen. But no, the school has decaf instead so the pupils don't get all bug eyed. Getting up she went over to her wardrobe and pulled out her dressing gown and slippers, both of which were scratchy and old. As she headed over to the door she saw something on the table; Daniels phone. She wasn't a nosy girlfriend, just curious. He'd always been so protective over it, and she just let it go everytime. She presumed it was because he grew up with so many brothers who would always steal his things. She listened out once more, confirming her being alone in the apartment. Once she was certain she headed or the table, and sat in his side of the bed with it in her hand.
I shouldn't. I mean he's my boyfriend so why should I? I mean I do trust him. But if I trust him so much then why should there be a problem that I can.
This logic sold it for her, she swiped it open and typed the password in.
0333
She went for straight for messages and found the last person he'd texted was his friend, Hades.
D-I can't get up, help!
H-Why not? Legs not working?
D-My chick is on my arm. Won't budge. She weighs a ton!
H-Lol...which chick?
Regina stopped dead. Which chick? They were exclusive. They weren't seeing other people. What the hell did he mean?
D-Not a funny joke. I only have Regina.
"Thank God..." She trailed off and continued reading.
H-Just get up and come meet me, if she wakes up then just tell her you've got work.
H-Come on, live a little!
D-Fine, but I've got to get this dead weight off me first 😂
H-HA! Good luck! See you at half past
Dead weight? What the hells does he mean dead weight?
Reginas blood was boiling. She immediately shoved some clothes on and headed straight to Mals. She lived two blocks away so she was there rather quick.
"MAL!" She banged the door with her fist and screamed non stop.
"MAL!"
Soon enough the door swung open to reveal a...delicate looking blonde.
"Shush." She walked away from the open door, indicating for her to come in.
"Mal I'm making you coffee then we are having a chat." Regina went straight to the kitchen and began boiling the kettle.
"What about?"
"Oooooh where do I begin?"
Sorry had really bad writers block! Hope you guys enjoyed it!
