Jas climbed on me and sat on my ass.
"You ready to give it up cause its not going how you expected or as fast as you expected."
She started to massage my back.
"But its been about a year now. And Im still at stage one."
"Everything takes time Des. Your just impatient. Chill, calm down, give it time. I got you 100%. All I want to see is your make-up line being bought in stores. I want it as bad as you do."
"That's why I fuck with you babe. You know how to motivate and calm me at the same time."
"That's my job and I does it well."
"I think you need a promotion."
She climbed off my back.
"Uh uh. Both our periods on, don't even think you fin to tease me."
I sat up and looked at her crazy.
"Nah. I just want to officially make you mine."
"You asking me out Desire' Jackson?"
A smile creeped up on her face. I spoke in the best fake accent I could do.
"Jasmyne Williams. Will you officially be my girlfriend my love?"
"Yes my love. I will officially be your lady."
We both broke out into laughter.
Ive always wanted Jas as more than just a friend. She has always been down for me.
Sometimes its like I have another mother.
But I know she only wants the best for me.
My bestfriend and my lover.
Im beyond thankful for her and I pray one day ill spend the rest of my life with her.
