"So, you are telling me that while you were crying, it was raining outside?" The King asked while rubbing his hairy chin.I nodded.
He rubbed his large hands over his face as he sighs. He looked visibly tired and worn out while still has that lost look in his eyes. I could still remember the time I ran out while we were talking about me being queen. I shuddered at that memory.
"I'm not quite sure but it's already rare enough to have the ability to control all elements but in your situation, you might have contained another power source. It's not from your mother but possibly from your father. Or can it be from your mother. If I'm correct, you might have another hidden power." He looked at me full awe and curiosity.
All I could do was gape at him, "So you're saying, that there's a chance of me having another power?"
"Though, it's a slim chance. That must've explained the fevers, breathing problems, and the butterflies! But I'm not too sure about this because your power shouldn't be having this many side affects. Maybe it is from the elements you control."
I sank deeper into the leather chair I sat on and letting out a shaky breath, while running my temples, "Too much, too much." I muttered.
"You may go now Joy, I will have to search deeper into this. And let me know if you notice anything different." He said as I got up and headed towards the door, "Oh! And Joy,"
I looked back and all seriousness was covered across his face, "Keep. Those. Feelings. Under. Control."
I nodded as I put a strong facade but inside, I was shaking.
For the next few hours, I sat on my bed and just stared outside, and the gloomy weather was really doing a toll on me.
All I could do was trying to stay calm so I wouldn't fret over anything. I tried keeping my mind blank of any worries that would make my feelings stay at cool.
I laid down on my bed, and stared up at the ceiling thinking about nothing. My mind was entirely blank and absolutely nothing was running through my head.
I let my eyes close, as sleep took over me completely.
There was people.
A lot of them. Fighting. Out on the field.
I couldn't tell what was going on because there was just a huge blob of people and these creatures that looked oddly familiar. The creatures were slowly diminishing one by one, into a cloud of dirty dust. All the people were becoming weaker by each second. Fire spread from across the field, water sprouted from the sky and turned to ice shards, killing the creatures on the spot. Then huge forms of rocks pounded on them while strong winds swept them off, sending them up in the air and falling down from a dangerous height.
I just stood there, not noticing someone was coming. Or shall I say something.
The creature came running towards me, and with a bitter laugh, it held up its sword and swung it, aiming for my head. So by instinct, my body immediately reacted by bending backwards as I watch the sword miss my face by only an inch. Then coming back up, I sent a gust of wind towards it, sending it flying it a few feet away. It came crawling back, then lunged at me. But before it could lay a finger on me, I kicked it square in the chest. Finally, I formed water in mid-air, transforming it to an ice shard, and stabbed the awful looking creature, making it into a ball of dust.
