The Thrid Test (Part One)

KALEBS P.O.V

I look around at the group then to Jane.

"Jane make a glass wall over the entrance !" I yell to Jane.

Then me and Layne run to infinity. He was now on the floor.

"Infinity, we need that ring if we are going to defeat them."

"I-its not ready, I need more time." Infinity tried to stand up.

Me and Layne run back to Emily and jane.

"Here your gonna need this !" Jane said tossing Layne the 9mm hand gun.

"Wheres the clips ?" Layne asked.

"Over there in the corner!" Jane yelled pointing to the far left corner of the cave.

Layne ran back to grab the clips.

I looked to Emily, I could tell she was scared.

"Layne!!" I yell.

He then run over to me "what?"

"I need your knife."

A confused look came across Layne's "why ?"

"Because Emily needs something to protect herself."

An even more confused look came across Layne's face. "She doesn't have powers though, it won't work for her."

"Just give it to me, I have an idea"

"Alright." Layne Reach's into his pocket and pulls out his knife.

I grab it "I hope this works." I say then give the knife a big pulse setting it to a charge.

I then run to Emily "here this will protect you."

"A knife?" Emily akss.

"Its and electric powered knife. So just take it!"

"Okay whatever you say." She says then takes the knife from me.

Then, I call rebel. She came immediately. "Stay and protect Emily and Jane." I say like she understands me, but I like to this she can.

When I was about to walk away Emily asked "what are you going to do?"

I look her in the eyes "me and Layne have to face this test away from you guys if we wanna keep you guys safe."

She didn't say anything she just looked at me.

I then turned around and walked over to Layne.

"We need to go out there and face these things away from Emily and Jane if we wanna keep them safe." I say pulling Layne to the side.

"Its like you read my mind." Layne said back, holding the gun up.

"Jane let down the glass wall me and Layne are going out there." I say looking to Jane.

"What ? No your not ! Not by yourselfs!"

"Just do it before they get any closer!" Layne yells.

Jane let down the wall and me and Layne ran out. When I looked back Jane had already made the glass wall/shild again.

Me and Layne started to run towards our enemy.

"If things start to go bad you gotta go back to them." I say to Layne.

"I'm not leaving you dude."

"You will if you have no choice."

We only ran about 50 yards which was about how far they were from us.
