Separate Ways

••Alex's POV••

"There's so many dresses." Summer said in awe as we walked in a dress store
"It's a dress store what did you expect?" Jeannie asked

"Hush." Summer said
"What color dress are you gonna get?" Maddy asked me
"Something with black." I laughed. She chuckled and shook her head

"But a little bit of black, come on Alex it's prom!" Summer whined
"Ok ok fine, just the top part black and the rest any other color yeah?" I asked

"Fine." She huffed and nodded
"Ok well let's get started." Jeannie said "I want a pink dress." Maddy squealed
"I want purple." Summer said
"I want mint green." Jeannie said

I chuckled and shook my head as I looked for one that caught my eye. They were all really pretty but they were either too puffy or too short. Like literally no in between

"How does this look?" Maddy asked walking out of the dressing room wearing a light pink with white lace on the top
"That's the one!" We yelled in sync making her laugh

"Ok then." She chuckled before walking back into the dressing room
"I think I found the one." Jeannie said dramatically as she held up a mint green dress with silver gems on it

"Go try it on then." I chuckled
"Fine." She snapped her fingers before walking away
"There's so many to choose from." Summer whined.

"Just choose one." Maddy laughed as she walked out now wearing her normal clothes and the dress in her hand. Summer huffed
"Obviously but which one?" Summer asked with a dramatic sigh

"Ughh." I said looking through the dresses. A particular caught my eye. It screamed SUMMER like literally the tag had Summer on it. I grabbed it and examined it. I smirked

"How about this one?" I asked her
"Alex you d-Oh my god!" She gasped as she ripped it out of my hands
"I-It's perfect." She smiled looking at the dress in awe. Sam better watch out. A dress is gonna steal his girl

"How's this?" Jeannie asked walking out. We stared at her in awe
"What? Do I look bad? I knew green wasn't my color." She said looking at herself

"You. Look. Beautiful." I said making her blush
"Slay!" Summer yelled making her laugh
"Perfect." Maddy nodded

"Really?" Jeannie asked we nodded in sync. She smiled
"Ok my turn." Summer said running to the dressing room
"Now to find one for you." Jeannie said. I nodded

We started looking around but none of them really caught my eye.
"So?" Summer called from behind us. We turned around to see her wearing the beautiful purple dress that has purple flowers on it and reaches a little bit below her knees

"If you weren't my sister I'd turn lesbian for you." I joked
"Dork." She laughed hitting my shoulder
"You look truly beautiful Sum." I smiled at her

"We need to find a dress for Alex, ASAP." Maddy said
"There's nothing here." I huffed
"Then we'll go to other stores." Jeannie said

"We'll pay for these and go." Summer said. I sighed
"Let's just look in the back." I said nodding towards it. They nodded as Maddy and Jeannie followed me and Summer went to change back

"How about this one?" Jeannie asked
"Or this one?" Maddy asked as they both held up two beautiful dresses. But the one Maddy was holding was perfect. It was black from the top and nude color from the bottom. And it was shorter than the front and longer from the back

"This one." I said walking over to it and grabbing it from her
"I knew it." Maddy laughed. I looked at the dress in awe. Who knew dresses could be this pretty?
