Poem 23

You promised to stay, so where are you?

Did you decide to leave me now too?

I was thinking about you all day long,

I sing your name as if it is a song.

I've waited for eternities and still waiting,

For you to come so we can go skating.

Just like we used to do long ago,

Or take long walks in the cold snow.

We'd go to a field with tall blooming flowers,

And play hide-and-seek for the longest hours.

We'd have food fights, and laugh as we cry,

But now you're gone and I don't know why.
