A gunshot rang through the field.
The young girl cowered. Her hands over her head,expecting the pain to come filling her body.
5 seconds passed.
Nothing happened.
She slowly opened her eyes and stared in horror on what was in front of her.
A boy laid in front of her.
His glasses were on the other side of his body,broken and covered with spilled blood.
She quickly ran to his side,not giving any shit if the gunman who did this can shoot her and kill her,a plan he intended to do until the bespectacled boy got in the way.
"Kudo-kun!!"she screamed as she shook him.
The boy took in breath,"Haibara..",he said in pain.
"BAKA!Why did you get in the way!He's after me. Not You!!"Haibara yelled.
The young boy smiled weakly, "I promised I would protect didn't I?"
'Shinichi....'
Tears started rolling down her face.
"This is the end ain't it",she said letting the tears fall,"Kud-No Shinichi,I have somethin-"
She immediately stopped when she felt his lips on her lips.
The boy slowly parted away and as he did he slowly closed his eyes.
"No..No!No!SHINICHI!"Haibara cried as she hugged him.
Bang!
The gunshot rang through the field.
Who ever it was intended for fell to the ground.
