Bonus! Chapter Twenty Three: Happy Birthday Gohan!

In the timeline: A few weeks after (Y/N) gives birth to Gochi

The sunlight streaked into the bedroom via the window, waking Gohan up. He opened his eyes slowly to face a sleeping (Y/N). Her eyes were shut and she was breathing deeply. He leaned over and kissed her forehead.

"Mmm... good morning," she muttered groggily, not opening her eyes.

"Good morning," he said with a smile.

(Y/N) finally opened her eyes and gazed into his onyx ones. His face was several inches away from hers. She got up slightly and kissed him as her arms wrapped around his neck. His hands reached for her waist as they kissed to embrace her. However, their brief make-out session was interrupted by the wails of an upset Gochi. They pulled away and Gohan sat up.

"Seems like it's time for her to get some milk," (Y/N) said, getting out of the bed.

She picked the crying infant up and whispered, "Hush... Mommy's here, and so is Daddy. I'll go get your milk, okay?"

Gochi let out a tiny giggle.

"Aww, she looks so much like you," (Y/N) commented, staring at Gohan.

Gohan smiled as he got up. He sneaked a glance at his alarm clock before turning to (Y/N), saying, "Honey, I must go to work now."

He kissed her on the lips before she said, "Go on."

He smiled before getting his buisness suit out of the cupboard then entering the bathroom.

Once Gochi had drunk her milk, she had fallen asleep on (Y/N)'s lap. Goten was thirteen, and was over to visit.

"I just remembered something," she said suddenly.

"What is it?" he asked, glancing at her curiously.

"It's Gohan's twenty-fourth birthday today," she answered.

"Aren't you gonna do anything about it?" Goten asked.

"Of course I am going to," she answered, picking Gochi up and placing her on Goten's lap, "Help me keep an eye on Gochi. Arigato."

Following that, she headed towards the kitchen.

The door opened, and in walked a tired Gohan. It had been a long day at work for him, and he was exhausted. But upon seeing such a sight in the living room, he could not help but open his eyes wide.

His entire family was there, and even the Briefs, Z-Fighters, (Y/N)'s parents, and many more. It had taken quite a long time to contact everyone over.

"Happy birthday Gohan!" (Y/N) exclaimed, giving the birthday man a hug.

"Arigato, (Y/N)-chan," he said, hugging her back.

Gochi, who was being carried by Chi Chi then, turned and faced her father, before saying, "Dada!"

"It's Gochi's first words!" Gohan exclaimed happily as he took Gochi into his arms.

The infant wrapped her arms around him before flashing him a smile.

Everyone gathered around the table. It was quite a squeeze, but everyone still managed to see the cake.

Everyone started to sing, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Gohan, happy birthday to you!"

Gohan closed his eyes and made a wish before blowing out the candles. A cheer errupted from everyone as Gohan proceeded to cut the cake.

After everyone had went home, Gohan went up to (Y/N), who was carrying a sleeping Gochi. His arms embraced her in a hug, and she smiled.

"Arigato for everything today, (Y/N)," he said with gratitude.

"Doitashimashite (You're welcome), Gohan," she answered with a smile before kissing him on the lips.
