Flora's P.O.V
I awoke from the dream thing with a start. What was that all about? Who were those people? Why did it seem familiar? My body was shaking and I was breathing hard. "Maybe I should get a cup of water." Pulling back the blankets I shifted out of the bed and walked downstairs. The house was dark, but thankfully Liam left little night lights on throughout the house so I could get back down. Stepping into the hallway for the kitchen I hard talking and slowed down. Now that I was paying attention, the light was on in the kitchen. I stopped short of the kitchen and peaked my head around the corner to seem Liam holding a gun to someone's head. My mouth dropped and my eyes widened. "Please sir, I didn't mean to intrude your territory, I'm only looking for my pup." "Then why were you threatening a family" A cringe worthy voice spoke and I felt my wolf on high alert as well as me. We hated that voice. It was like watching him emerge from the shadows, my father.
I slowly spun around on my ankle, flashes of when I previously met my father. Liam. Liam. Liam. Liam was there too! He was holding the same gun that he held now, except this time it wasn't pointed at me. Is Liam my actual mate? Is the Moon Goddess laughing at me right now? 'No Liam is not your mate Flora. I am not sure how I know, but I just do. We need to leave here now before they notice us.' I nodded my head in understanding and eased out the back door, making a beeline for the woods in my bare feet. 'Why didn't we remember his face? All this time we've been letting him kiss on us on stuff?' I stopped running when I heard a loud gun shot. It made me jump and I felt my heart race as another went off. "He's going to notice we're gone. We need to shift." Anna agreed and shifted our bodies so that she was now sprinting through the woods.
As we ran I tried to remember anything or anybody who I could contact for help. 'I know there was an alpha.' Anna said, 'also a beta.' I just couldn't remember their names. The only name I could remember was Emma. The name kept floating around my head and had ever since I woke here. We reached a town and shifted behind a clothing donation store, stealing some of the donation clothes outside. 'I need to eat something and drink water. The heat is going to start up again.' I looked around and saw a little restaurant at the end of the road. Running up closer I could smell Italian food and entered the restaurant. It looked familiar to me as I glanced around. From the tables to the smell to the section outside. It all just looked really familiar. 'Maybe we've been here before. Let's ask to sit down for a while. Someone might recognize us.'
Alpha Sebastian's P.O.V
"Alpha, someone has spotted a female who resembles the Luna, but she does not bear your mark." My beta spoke to me his he entered the room. I was working in my office late. "At one in the morning?" My beta nodded his head, "Yes Alpha, it's at the Italian restaurant that you took Flora too also. It could very well be her. The different mark could be what's blocking your mind link from reaching hers. It would also explain the constant pain." I stood up and followed my beta to the car. 'Do you really think it is Flora?' My wolf asked hopeful. 'I don't know what to think.' With that I got in the car and we began driving.
