Perrie's P.o.v

Headlights. That's all I can see now, it's too dark to make out the painted colors of the vehicles.

The cars past by us, and it leaves an uncomfortable silence lingering within he air.

I glare out the window, and watch the small droplets of water slide down like tears on the window.

"How did you find me?" I ask quietly.

She didn't answer me for a while. A lingering silence. I can say that it was comforting, but my curiosity is suffering from suspense. An unanswered questions leads to more questions.

"I was worried about you." She states.

How? I barely knew her. I'm surprised of a person who I don't even know was so caring. Once again, an unanswered question. But I'm not going to ask this time. She might not even know why she cares.

"I know I barely know you, but I was just worried. A girl alone walking the streets of Manchester isn't always the best scenario." She explains herself. It's like she can read my mind.

"Oh." Is all I can muster.

She parks the car in her dormitory parking lot, and shuts off the car. But she doesn't get out of the car.

"I know you probably don't want to talk about it right now, and I know that right now you probably don't feel so hot. And I don't want you to go home alone, so why don't you stay at my place tonight?" She asks.

Jade's P.o.v

Surprise raids her features.

"What? No. It's fine, I don't want to burden you or anything." She throws a masked smile to hide her inner pain.

I know when someone needs someone. and she desperately deserves someone who cares right now.

"No, it's fine. I offered anyway, I don't mind, and I don't take no for an answer." I say.

I saw I slight smile play off her features.

"Now, let's go get some sleep, yeah?"

------

We went up to my dorm to find it just how I left it. Empty.

I checked my phone which I haven't done in a while, to see I had a text from Jesy.

Hey! I'm spending the night at my friends Leigh-Anne tonight, hope you don't mind! I'll be back tomorrow afternoon. ~Jesy

I text her back.

Yeah, for sure! I'll see you tomorrow then. ✌🏻️✌🏻 ~Jade

Perrie had sat down on the couch and just stared at the television that is in fact not on.

"Hey, you know people kinda like to watch the tv while it's on." I joke. I try to make the mood a bit lighter.

"O-oh I'm s-sorry." She blurts.

"It's just a joke, love. The remote is on the coffee table." I smile.

"Feel free to watch what're you like. I'll be in the kitchen making some tea. How many sugars you like?" I ask.

"Oh no it's fine." She says.

"So two? Two it is." I joke. "I don't take no for an answer, love. It I'll warm you up." I say.

"I like three." She looks up and smiles.

There it is. I smile back.

I hang my coat up, and head to the kitchen. I'm so glad that I got the extra big dorm rooms, I'll never regret it.

I bring out my pot and put some water in it and throw it on the stove and put it on high. I bring out two glasses and some blueberry tea packets. My favorite.

As I finish up, and the water is left to boil, I head to the couch, to see that Perrie is currently watching Full House.

"I love this show!" I exclaim.

"Me too." She smiles a bit.

"Hey, my roommate isn't going to be here tonight, so you can use her bed. I'll put some extra sheets on it for you." I tell Perrie.

"That's really nice of you." She mumbles.

"Of course." I smile.

As we continue to watch Full House, I think. What happened to this girl? Why is she so hurt. I turn my head in her direction and take a gander at her features. She's very beautiful, but by her body language, just the way she's sitting, just the way her facial expression contours, she's vulnerable. Utterly, and completely naked in her emotions. But yet she doesn't speak in words, she speaks in a different tongue, she speaks with her eyes, and her body. I can tell she doesn't speak of her emotions a lot. Maybe it's hard for her to do so. Maybe I'm just being overly observant, but it's in my nature to worry. And it's in my nature to try and help others fix problems. It's a blessing and curse.

"What are you thinking about?" She asks bringing me out of my thoughts. I think she caught me staring, oops.

"Nothing." I smile once again.

"O-okay." She quietly speaks.

What happened to this innocent girl?
