Today is a rough day for me. First time ko nakita si Maxine kanina. She's so furious. So mad she might rip my head off.
"Oh my god Alex you said you like cakes" Kamie gasped covering her mouth.
I laughed and pried her hand away from her mouth. "I do but I just don't feel eating one today" I explained and propped my elbow on the table.
I heard the bell rang and saw a girl walking in flaunting her gucci bag.
Nakasuot siya ng pink puffy dress with 1 inch straps on her skinny shoulder.
Her lips and nails painted red and was wearing heels.
She's pretty kung hindi sana siya nakasimangot.
She approached our table. Maybe wanted to ask something.
"Maxine" Kamie acknowledged her. Maxine, siya kaya yung ex ni Alex?
She didn't look her way. Her eyes fixed on me.

Ano daw? Oh my, this is Maxine alright. Maybe she already knew na kami na ni Alex.
Alex told me she was jealous of me. Kaya pala. Psycho bitch I thought to myself. I didn't realize I was smirking. Oh god.
"Don't you dare smirk at me!" she shrieked. Everyones's attention are now on us.
Hindi ako umimik. Madami na akong nasaksihan na ganto sa grupo ko sa Manila and once na pumatol ako, they don't end well. Ang mahal pa naman tignan ng damit niya.
I was just staring at her, relaxed.
"Bakit di ka makapagsalita? Cat got your tongue?" she retorted clicking her tongue.
She stepped back when I reached for my juice. Huh, iinom lang eh. Wag praning. Di ako yung nambabasa. Nagagandahan ako sa damit mo eh.
I feel a little guilty kasi kasalanan ko naman kung bat sila nagbreak pero bakit sobrang war freak nito nakakabanas.
Naiinis siguro siya kasi di ako umiimik.
"Hindi dahil popular ka na sa school, kalevel mo na ako. May I remind you, layuan mo boyfriend ko!" she spat.
I wanna laugh but stopped myself.
"Boyfriend?" I asked. "Alex said you broke up with him a week ago" I finished off with a grin containing my giggle.
Namula yung mukha niya.
"It doesn't matter. Magkakabalikan din kami pero bigla kang sumulpot. Bitch" she raised her brows.
"I know I'm a bitch" a giggle escaped my mouth. "May sasabihin ka pa ba? I don't play this game Maxine" I glared at her.
She raised her hand in her hip and I saw her lift her hand in the air. I was readying myself for the catch but then Kevin showed up.
Natatawa ako sa Maxine na yun. Will I tell Alex? Maybe not, hindi na niya kailangang malaman.
"Ate! Tawag ka ni kuya Lex!" Shara called from below.

Grinning to myself, I rushed down.
Alex's lips were set in a grim line. His jaw tighten. Who am I kidding. Ofcourse everyone saw us at Vzcos.
Like what Maxine said, I am now one of the populars. Ugh!!!
"What happened?" Alex ask searching my face.
"Can we not talk about it here? Tara sa taas" I pulled him up. Hindi sila nagagalit sakin when I do that kasi ang alam nila magkaibigan lang kami. And beside, wala sila tita.
Pano na pag nalaman nila na....... Don't go there now.
We sat down on my bed. He reached for me just as I finished locking the door.
He held my hand in his lap. I am standing in front of him.
"Look, wala naman nangyaring masama eh. Kinausap lang ako ni Maxine" I sighed.
"She said she slapped you" so si Maxine ang nagsabi.
"Almost, Kevin was there" I recalled.
He let out his breath raking his hand in his hair. He rubbed his face with his free hand and looked into me.
"Tell me everything" he instructed and I obliged.
Kwinento ko sakanya lahat. His face would go blank and angry and agitated and happy all at the same time. He looked pissed.
"You're a tough girl Lex, I never thought you can think that way" he laughed humor gleaming in his eyes.
"Oo naman syempre. Galing ako sa gang eh" I blurted but closed my mouth. Shit
"Saan?" he stopped laughing. Maybe he didn't hear that after all.
"I said sa Manila. Madaming ganun dun" I lied making him smile.
"I'm so proud of you" he kissed my palm and went up by arm. I shivered.
He continued up to my collar bone to my neck leaving feather kisses until he reached my lips.
His scent invaded my thoughts. Reaching for him, I tripped on my own feet and fell infront of him, on my knees.
Shit
I looked up at him, his hazel eyes were clouded.
Crap
I stood up still looking in his eyes. I shut mine and asked him "You hungry? May pagkain sa baba" breathy god damn it.
He smirked and pulled me out of my room "Very" he said with gleam of mischief in his eyes.
Oh god
What did just happen?
My subconscious is now wide awake.
