The day where we were supposed to meet
"Hey! Where's Jeon Jungkook?!" Kim Taehyung, my bestfriend, roared as we made our not-so fancy entrance at the room.
The teacher is still not around so there's nothing to worry about. I scanned the whole classroom looking for 'him' but it looks he went off to somewhere else. Taehyung continued questioning the students there about the whereabouts of Jungkook but looks like none of them has a single clue. I sighed before walking away from that place while Tae followed behind me.
He's not there so there's no reason to stay at that place any longer. "Hey Jimin-ah. Where are you planning to look for him?"
I glanced at Taehyung who's beside me. "He just transferred here yesterday so he's probably at school. Hence, I'll look around the school." Giving him a monotonous answer.
"Aish, Park Jimin it's already been 1 year! Are you still going to chase him even after he dumped you?" Taehyung was obviously annoyed by his way of speaking. He's been convincing me to forget about 'him' ever since that incident happened. I understand his point but forgetting someone you love is something that is you can say easily but hard to do.
I gave him an apologetic look and patted his shoulder, "Sorry. You can go to our class now. I'll just stay at the clinic. Make sure to tell the teacher."
Taehyung gave out a deep sigh as a sign of 'I give up' before nodding at me and started walking back to our classroom.
I took my time walking to the infirmary. It's not like I'm in a rush anyways. I turned the doorknob and entered but looks like the nurse in charge isn't here.
Why are people missing today?
Guess I'll just have to entertain myself. I walked towards the available beds when I heared a familiar voice. Instead of going to the bed, my feet brought me to where the voice was coming from. I couldn't see his face because of the curtains that was seperating him from me but I know it's his. It's been one year since I talked to him but I had memorized his voice so I'm pretty sure that the one talking behind this curtain is none other than Jeon Jungkook.
A feeling of nostalgia rushed through my body.
//flashback//
I stared blankly outside through the bus' window as I sit alone. Tonight was just one of those nights where Tae and I felt lazy attending class so we skipped school and had a fight with some lazy students jusy like us. My face was covered with small wounds while my lips had a small cut but it's not like I mind the pain. I'm used to it so honestly speaking, I don't feel anything at all.
This was supposed to be one of those nights where I'll silenty enjoy the bus ride until I reach the stop and walk to my house and have a good sleep. But he made it different.
My attention was caught by the sobs that I heard from another passenger inside the bus. The others had already went down and so there's just me, the driver and that sobbing boy. I got curious so I stole a glance at him.
His face had angelic features. He had an innocent look. He looks like a lost lamb. Tears and a slightly red nose didn't make him any less handsome.
"Aish, Jungkook stop already. Just until when are you planning to cry?" I heard him mutter to himself.
I wonder what had put him into this state. This boy looks so fragile and needs to be protected so what evil did make him cry?
My curiosity increased so when we went down the bus, I called him without even realizing anything, "Hey kid, do you want to eat some tteokbukki?"
