It was Friday night. I should be out and about. Being at clubs, hanging out with friends, or simply staying in with a loved one. Unfortunately, I didn't have one. We broke up a few months ago. He cheated on me with another man that was one of my best friends. Yep, I was gay. No one had a problem with it really. The worst of it all is, they secretly had a love child and didn't tell me. This has been going on for about three years before I came along. I would still be upset over it, but even when we were together, there wasn't really a spark anyways.

My stomach rumbles in the dull small silence of living room. I sighed and decided to take my ass to a local Pizza Shop. I didn't feel like taking my car. It was raining outside. Nothing hard, it was just light. I loved the rain. I liked how it made everything smell clean and made everything feel soothing. The Shop was kind of empty. Hell, I was the only one there. Guess it's closing time.

"Can I help you?" some asked. A guy no taller than I am, stood behind the cash register. He had soft tone looking skin and long black hair. He smiled brightly that made my heart feel like it was being squeezed. I was appealed by his beauty.

"Um..yeah can I have a pepperoni slice, cut in two?" he nodded and made one for me while putting it into the oven afterwards. "Your're in luck. I just about to close."

"I never noticed you before," I leaned over the counter. "New?"

"First day," he smiled. "I guess it went pretty well today." I nodded.

"I'm Ashley by the way." he said holding out his hand. I smiled at him taking his hand. It was smooth.

"I'm Andrew..but I prefer Andy."

"Hello, Andy." he giggles. I smirked.

"I like that sound." he blushed a deep red.

"I'm guessing your one of 'those' guys." I frown.

"How so?"

"The pigs that's always hitting on me." he went to get my pizza from the oven. I chuckled.

"Oh, I'm not a pig. Just giving you a compliment."

"Thanks, but I do have to close the store."

"Wait," I grabbed his hand. "Can we talk?"

"About?"

"Well..anything."

"I don't usual stay out late. Plus, it's raining."

"We can stay inside," I pointed around the shop. "We can talk here...eat some Pizza."

"Andy, we just met. How do I know your not some-?"

"You can trust me." I smiled as I bit into my pizza. I don't know much about Ashley but I wanted to. I wanted to know all. Ashley seemed like a nice guy. "I like you. You seem cool." he hid behind his long beautiful hair.

"Ok..I guess." I smiled as we sat down. I pushed the other slice of Pizza to Ashley. "I feel bad eating in front of you. You look hungry."

"I couldn't.."

"I insisit." I smiled.

"Oh..your're a gentlemen." he blushed while taking the Pizza into his mouth.

"I try to be." I smiled, taking a bite into my Pizza as well.

After a while, me and Ashley talked. We surprisingly had a few things in common. We both liked music, we both loved to sing, and a bunch of other stuff. By the end of that night, I left with a number. Ashley's number.
