The year went by and things turned out great. Nothing was heard about Sirius and no news is good news, right? I couldn't be happier. The end of the year was close and I couldn't wait for it to be over. So what if I had a broken arm? That wasn't going to stop me! No one in the Slytherin house knew I was out the night the trio and I saw Sirius and nobody knew that we let him out. I mean, I did have to make an excuse that I was running down the stairs after hours from staying in the library too long for my arm but pfff.

I was walking down to the Great Hall for breakfast when I saw it. As I entered the Great Hall I saw the pug-face sitting next to Draco. She was looking up at him dreamily and he was looking down at her. Then BOOM. Their lips collided. My jaw dropped and I suddenly felt sick. I looked at the floor and pretended I forgot something. I bit my lip and waited a few seconds before hitting my head in "realization" and turning around, racing out the door. Tears started to slowly roll down my face. I guess my feelings for Draco were stronger than I expected. I looked at the ground as swiftly walked away. Then, I collided with come someone. We both toppled to the floor, me on top of him. I popped my eye open and saw the Hufflepuff crest on his chest. I opened my other eye and slowly got off him.

"Sorry," I croaked. I looked into his eyes and gave a small smile. Silver, not gray, silver. The Seeker. He smiled back and started to walk away.

"Wait," I said grabbing his hand. He turned and looked at our intertwined hands. I let go immediately. "Erm- can you not tell anyone you saw me crying? I don't exactly want sympathy at the moment." I bit my lip and looked down at the floor.

"Sure" he replied and walked off. I rushed into Moaning Myrtle's bathroom and splashed my face with water. Man up Hazel. It's just a crush you'll end up getting over. Like how Ginny's over Harry. You can do this. I looked into the mirror. In my reflection, I saw a girl who knew she could get over something easily. I smiled and made my way out of the bathroom. I walked out of the castle and out to my tree. I crouched down and traced my finger over the engravement.

Hazel Rebecca Rosewood's Tree

I smiled and took off my sweater and climbed up into my tree. I kicked off my shoes and swung my legs back and forth while I took out The Book Thief. I read for about an hour in my tree until I heard the 12 o'clock bell. I closed my book and pulled my school shoes on, hopping on one foot as I ran towards the doors. As I walked towards the Great Hall Harry was coming in too.

"Hi Harry!" I exclaimed as we approached the Great Hall.

"Hi Hazel." He replied as we walked through the doors. As we walked down the aisle of tables I could hear Ron ordering people around.

"Stand back, I said! O-or I'll take it upstairs if you don't settle!"

"Harry!" Neville exclaimed running up to us with Seamus. "Wherever did you get it?"

"Can I have a go, Harry? After you, of course." Seamus asked.

"What are you talking about?" Harry asked in confusion.

"Quiet! Let the man through." Ron ordered.

"I-I didn't mean to open it, Harry. I-I-t was badly wrapped and they made me do it." Ron pointed to Fred and George.

"Did not." They said in unison.

Harry opened the parcel. Inside was a gleaming Firebolt.

"It's a Firebolt," Fred said.

"It's the fastest broom in the world." his twin said after.

"For me? But who sent it?" Harry asked looking around.

"No one knows," Ron told us.

"This came with it." Hermione said picking up a long gray feather. Was that a hippogriff feather? Harry and Hermione shared funny glances.

Harry brought his broom outside and we all chased after him. He mounted the broom and kicked off. He was like a diving eagle.

"WHOAAA!!!!!" He shouted as he was lifted into the air. I crossed my arms shook my head with a smile on my face watching Harry turn into a speck. What a hectic year once more. I just need a normal one next year. I am a Slytherin Princess, aren't I? I need my beauty sleep.
