Chapter 11 - Fight Like a Girl

Pyxis is here.

They've come for me.

I grin, feeling relieved. One of them will surely untie me! Humanda kayo sa'kin Phoenix! Lalo ka na Troy!

"What took you guys so long? Nainip kami." sabi no'ng lalaking mukhang mayaman. He stands up and removes his gray coat. Ayaw niya sigurong masira at malukot ang uniform niya, o baka ayaw niya ng sagabal. I can relate. It's hard to fight with a blazer on.

Walang sumagot sa Pyxis. Seryoso ang expression ng mukha nilang lahat. They look deadly. Walang ibang bakas ng emosyon ang mukha nila maliban doon. It's a first for me to see them like this.

Nakakapanibago. Ganito ba sila kapag labanan na? Aiden, Hunter, and Miles, I didn't know they could make such a threatening expression.

"Alisson, may ginawa ba silang masama sa'yo?" Miles asks, still looking deadly. For the first time in forever, he doesn't look cute.

"I'm fine, Miles." I say smiling confidently.

"Come on, she's just a bait you know. We didn't do anything. Don't you trust us?" the guy who calls me princess teases. He pulls his sleeves up to his elbow at pinatunog ang mga daliri.

Orange steps forward and scans the place with the look of murder in his face.

Nagtuluy-tuloy si Orange sa paglalakad papunta sa'kin. The tension is getting stronger as he's getting nearer. He's only a few steps away nang harangin siya ng kapatid niya. Mukhang naka-recover na si Troy sa ginawa ko sa kanya kanina.

"Bro, we can't give her to you that easily. Play with us first—"

Tyler strikes Troy with a fist pero mabilis itong naka-ilag. Ngumisi si Troy at sinubukan ding sumuntok, pero napigilan ni Tyler ang kamao ni Troy gamit ang kanyang palad, ilang pulgada mula sa mukha niya.

"Did you touch her?" halos hindi bumuka ang bibig ni Tyler dahil sa sobrang galit at gigil.

Ngumisi si Troy, "I did."

Using his other hand, Tyler throws an uppercut na nailagan lang muli ni Troy.

And as if on cue, the fight starts.

Charlie mentioned they're skilled fighters... and they really are. They're... they're amazing! I can see different moves and styles of mixed martial arts! Some are even new to me. I bet they're all experts! Para akong nanunuod ng climax sa movie nila Jackie Chan at Jet Li. Popcorn na lang ang kulang.

This is quite a fight, I can learn so much. But most of all, I want to join! Gusto ko nang mapatikim ng sipa at kamao ang walang hiyang Troy na 'yon!

Kanya-kanya sila ng kalaban. Phoenix has only six members while Pyxis has seven kaya walang kalaban si Jacin, who's dodging kicks and punches on his way towards me. Everyone is busy fighting kaya wala nang humarang sa kanya, pumwesto agad siya sa likod ko upang alisin ang gapos sa kamay ko.

Finally, I'm free!

But Jacin grabs my wrist, "Let's go."

"Eh? Go where?"

He frowns, nagtaka sa tanong ko. "Out of here."
