She fell hard into depths she could never conquer, arms spread to embrace the water.
Her lover lifted her on foamy arms and brought her low, into himself, until her lungs burned, her lips cooled. This love drowned her, hair drifting around cold skin.
She is a shadow walking the darkest depths of the ocean, gaping hollow words. Her purple feet whisper ghostly steps to a lover breaking on the shore and filling her lungs with salt and brine. A distant lover, he fills her but he cannot breathe life into her.
