Davina and Josh had taken temporary residence in Rhea's apartment, since Josh's rescue from Finn's clutches.

Josh was groaning in pain and pinching the bridge of his nose, almost as if he had a headache. Rhea, upon entering the room, said, "Well you still look terrible."

"Ugh, this is worse than the Halloween hangover of 2011." Both Rhea and Davina laughed at the boy, until he sighed, "I went after Aiden, didn't I?"

Rhea averted her eyes, Davina kneeled in front of her friend to look him in the eyes, "You know, he was up all day, all night until Marcel called and said the spell was broken."

"You've got a keeper there, Joshua." Rhea told the boy, who nodded in reply, a smile, paired with a blush crept up onto the vampires face.

"You guys totally saved my ass, thank you." He gave both girls a grateful smile.

Suddenly, Kol strutted into the room, causing Rhea to roll her eyes playfully.

"Ever heard of knocking?"

"Yeah, well, you know me— I like to make an entrance," he tossed Josh a blood bag, "There you go, here's a little go-juice. So you should be, well, going."

Davina chuckled, pulling on Josh's hand, the two heading for the door, "Bye." She said to Rhea, a knowing smirk on her face.

Kol took a step towards Rhea, who crossed her arms, a serious look on her face.

"So, where were you and Ares yesterday?"

"Well, you know, being heroes, saving the day as usual!"

"Ah. And neither of you thought I could help?"

"Well, you were too busy playing mother Theresa to the local vampire population."

"You couldn't have called me to let me know you're okay? It takes ten seconds, Kol."

Kol gasped mockingly, "Uh-oh, this is a right proper spat we're having, I can't remember the last time we had one of those. Almost as if we're, uh.. Oh what is that phrase? 'An old married couple?'"

Rhea chuckled, "You wish!"

"Ah, one day! Maybe I could make it up to you? By, uh, well.. Finishing a mystical dagger? Finally? What do you say?" Rhea nodded, unaware of Kol's strange behaviour.
