Chapter 17

J A C E

I knew this was a great idea. Layla has been going on and on about doing something for Elle's birthday for a week. Since this is my hotel, I figured we could have nice elegant party here for her.

The look on her face was priceless. She looked stunned. That dress really does justice for her too. I find myself a little jealous at all the other guys seeing all of her curves. She so beautiful, yet she doesn't know it.

What are you thinking? You can't like her! You'll just get hurt. A voice in my head sneers.

I push the voice out of my head. I don't care. I think I do like her. The only problem is that she likes that douche Chase. I have other plans though. I will make her like me.

This party is great, but at the same I've had 4 maybe 5 shots of pure vodka, so I'm feeling pretty goooooood.

"Turn up that damn music!" I yell over the crowd to the DJ. Everyone laughs and the DJ does as I told him.

I stumble to the dance floor. The way my body automatically moves to the music, makes me feel great. My hips swaying to the music makes me feel so free.

"Careful there, Elle." A deep voice comes from behind me, as I stumble a little. I feel a large muscular arm wrap around my waist to steady me. I look up to see a pair of beautiful light brown eyes staring back at me. I glance at his lips to see his gorgeous smile. Wow, this guy is some kind of God or something. He's sexy, muscular, and he has the kindest smile in the world.

"You gonna keep staring at me like that, babe?" He deeply chuckles. I feel my cheeks heat up and I quickly turn away.

Getting a newly found confidence and grab his hand. "Dance with me." I send him a small and he gives a very confused look.

"Why?" He asks, furrowing his eyebrows at me.

"Well for one, your drop dead sexy. And for two, I'm the birthday girl." I laugh and reply. He gives me a stunned look and a small smirk, but quickly places his hands on my hips and we start to dance.

After the dance ends, I pull him to the bar with me and we take a few more shots. Felling a rush of the liquor running through my veins, I grab his hand and lead him to an empty room.

Not really sure where I'm going I stop.

"Elle, what are you doing?" He questions. I shrug and walk again. Seeing a very beautiful swimming pool, a wonderful idea pops into my head. I turn and give him a small smirk before running and jumping into the pool. Feeling the freezing water surfacing around me, I can't help but to feel like a complete idiot for forgetting it's the beginning of October. The nights are a lot colder.

"Elle, what the hell is wrong with you. Get out! The water is freezing!" I hear the guy yell at me.

I feel a huge arm around me again and he leads me out of the pool and quickly wraps a huge blanket around me.

"T-that w-was... AWESOME!" I exclaim. Even though the water was freezing and I can no longer feel my toes, it was a blast!

"You are insane, Elle." He laughs.

"Wait? How do you know my name? I don't know yours." I tell him and back away a little bit.

"Just, uh, call me Dalton." He replies. I giggle a little. Dalton. That's a sexy name. For a sexy guy. But it must be fake. He just doesn't look like a Dalton.

"Okay, I'll play along. Your name isn't Dalton. That's obvious." I smirk.

"How would you know?" He smirks back.

"I don't but, going on a hunch here, you don't look like a Dalton." I say matter-a-factly.

"Well, that's good." He smirks again.

"Well, if were telling fake names here, I want you to call me something else." I laugh.

"What's that?" he questions.

"I want you to call me, Daisy." I tell him with small smile.

"Why?"

"Because that's my favorite flower." I smirk and head back into the party.
