"Baby look, it's raining again!"
Ashley was excited about days like this. So was I. Ashley and I share many special moments but the one that I most cherish is when we go on long walks in the rain. It makes me feel like were young teens again, sneaking out and taking my love somewhere where we can be alone. I smiled looking outside the window at the medium drizzle outside.
"Let's go,"
We took one umbrella. I like being under one with Ashley. That way he can always stay close to me. Walking down a trail from our house, we've talked, laughed, held each other close, and listened to the gentle sounds of the rain.
"I love moments like these," I said. Ashley looks up at me with those big cute brown eyes and that elegant smile. "To be out here with you. " I kissed his cheek. "Where I can have you all to myself and enjoy this weather." I kissed him again but on his lips. They tasted like his chocolate chap-stick I loved so much. Ashley showed me that walking in the rain can help me see things in a different perspective. Before, I was a person that didn't like the rain too much til Ashley came along.
"I feel the same way baby." he reaches up and kissed my cheek. Being in the rain gives us space. For our thoughts and emotions to roam free and run wild together. It also gives me a chance to see how beautiful Ashley looks in the rain. He's beautiful all the time but in the rain he gets this glow on him that makes him look so irresistible. Ashley saw me starring and blushed.
"What?" I smirked down at the little beauty.
"You're beautiful.." I kissed his lips again.
"Stop it." he laughed.
"Why? you are." I laughed.
"Sometimes I ask myself why...why me? anyone you could've wanted....you chose me." I stopped us from walking. We were near a small skinny that was leaning on the side.
"Baby look at me," I lift his face so he was facing me. "Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend, was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control...and my love for you is still out of my control. Your cute smile, your laughter attracted me to you, but not like your mind and your way of thinking. I love you. You are my everything and I wouldn't want anyone else other than you."
"I love you too, Andy." he smiled wiping his tears. "God, I'm such a girl." I held out the umbrella to Ashley.
"Hold this,"
"Why?" he asked taking it. I took my hands to wipe his tears and took his face in my hands and kissed him. His arm goes around my neck and I pull him closer to me with one hand. We pull away with being inches away.
"I love you, Ashley."
"I love you too, Andy."
And then we continue on walking and enjoying each others company in the rain.
