- Toby's POV -
We all decided to leave her. It was the best when she was like this. It sounds like I know her like the back of my hand but I don't, she is just exactly like my baby sister. Well I say baby, she's 15, but she is my baby sister.
Anyway, we all made our way quietly towards the door and left shutting it behind us. We decided it was best for to get sleep as she is not in the best mood or has the best strength at the moment. We don't know what is wrong with her but I had to promise I wouldn't call the doctor because otherwise she would have left and she is not well enough.
"Why on earth did you say not to call the doctor? Are you stupid. She nearly stopped breathing and you don't think that needs a doctor." Harvey basically shouted at me. Apparently to him I hadn't done the right thing. James, Jake and Josh all nodded agreeing with Harvey. I walked to the door and put my ear to it. I heard a quiet snore and knew she was asleep. Just what I hoped for. I knew she would quickly fall asleep because of how weak she is, so hopefully my plan will work.
"I had to do it because otherwise she would have got up and left and you saw how she was, her breathing nearly stopped." I repeated what he said, a smirk appearing on my lips. "I knew we would not be able to get her to agree for a doctor, so we are going to call a doctor now and get her to check her over as best as they can as she is asleep. At least then we will be able to know if something is seriously wrong or not." They all looked at me for a bit until Josh finally spoke up.
"Good idea bro, I'll call my sister if that's easier. At least then we know she will be a bit more considerate as we know her." I knew that was a good idea so I nodded and told him to call her.
We waited till Josh's sister turned up and every now and then one of us would go check up on Octavia to make sure she is still asleep and after half an hour she turns up with her doctor equipment. I silently took her to the room and she carefully checked her over, trying not to wake her and when she was done we both walked out. Good thing Tav was a heavy sleeper.
"So, anything out of the ordinary sis?" Josh asked as I slowly closed the door.
"Not really, it seams like she just got scared, do you know if she gets panic attacks or faints easily? I can't find out much as I have literally just looked at her." She sounded a bit irritated and to be honest I can't blame her as we brought her all this way for her just to look at someone who is asleep.
"No, it was more then that. It was like something physically knocked her out. She was out cold and she was barely breathing. There must be something really wrong, we just don't know what." I mumbled, but loud enough for everyone to hear. I was confused and worried. She could have died.
And just like that the door opens. We all turn to face her as she holds onto the doorframe. Her arms are a bit shaky and she looks really pale. Walking over to her I put my arm around her waist and go to take her back to the bed.
-Octavia's POV-
"Hey, no. I don't want to go back to bed. I'm not a baby. I wanna stay with you guys or go home." I whisper the last part because I feel scared being here. Something is not right and I think it's what's making me feel weird.
"You can't go home. Are you serious, you nearly died. We can't just take you home when you are still ill." He shouts, anger flaring through every word.
"I'm just scared." I whisper hoping no one heard. I look up to check and only see a few guys faces giving me sympathetic looks and one girls face until Toby stands in front of me, still with his hands round my waist. Wait a girl?
"Why are you scared? We won't hurt you. We are trying to make you feel better not hurt you." He whispers so I'm sure only i heard.
"Something doesn't feel right." I whisper again and look into his eyes. They are etched with worry and a nice light blue colour, nearly grey. I would have stared at them for hours if Harv hadn't come up and put an arm round me.
"Fine, you can stay with us. We will put you on the sofa so that you can fall asleep if you need to, ok?" I just nod not feeling up to speaking. They both pull me along but it's not getting us anywhere quickly because the sofa is on the other side of the warehouse. I look at Toby who is looking straight at me and silently send him a message. Having got the message I sent him he stops, puts his arms behind my back and knees and picks me up. I wrap my arms around his neck and I felt a bit safer then I thought I would.
As he made it to the sofa, he payed me down and sat on the floor by my head. I looked at all the guys and finally remembered the girl standing there. I turned my head to face Toby and whispered "Why is there a girl here?" He chuckled, and slightly flicked my nose and said "Josh's sister" For some strange reason I really didn't like the look of her something about her was off. Like she had taken something that was mine. So on instinct I pushed myself more into the back of the sofa, afraid of what she could do to me.
"Tav, there is nothing to worry about. She is here to help..." But he didn't finish the sentence. Instead he turned away, avoiding eye contact with me. All the guys took a deep breath in and that's when I saw it.
A bag.
A bag full of doctors equipment, slightly open.
I punched Toby in the head and heard him wince. "I said no doctor and you go and call one. I hate you. Why would you do that to me?" With that I pulled myself up and dragged myself towards the door. When I got there I yanked it open only for it not to be the room and to be hit in the face with a strong woodsy smell.
Loosing my balance I collapsed on the floor and as I was about to let the darkness overcome me again I heard Toby whisper "We had to..."
