I lean against the doorway of the nursery as I watched Andy play with our 1 month old daughter, Amber. He's been the absolute best to me. A couple of years ago, I was all alone and homeless. No one wanted to help me, no one cared. Then Andy came along and took me in. I'm really blessed to have him. 

"Oh, didn't notice you there," Andy walks over to me giving me a kiss. "What's up, baby?" I shrugged.

"I was just thinking." I say. Andy wraps his arms around me as I look up at him in those blue eyes.

"About what?" 

"Well, us. Our life...the future."

"What about it?" Andy asks.

"Just wondering what life would be like a in a few years. Wondering what it be like to not be in your arms right now." Andy frowns. 

"What makes you wonder about that?"

"It's just that..you've done so much for me since we've meet and sometimes I feel like I don't deserve this...like I don't deserve you. Most of my life I've been treated poorly and then you come along.." Andy pulls me in closer. "Do I really deserve this? Do I deserve you?"

"Don't talk like that. I'm glad I found you when I did that night."

"Why?" I asked wiping my face. Didn't know I was crying. 

"Because I would've lost the greatest opportunity in life to have you as mine." he smiled. 

"Ashley, I love you. If I haven't met you, my life would be empty. We wouldn't have our baby girl together, and a another on the way." he says while rubbing my stomach. "You're my blessing." I smiled.

"I should say that about you. You've helped me so much Andy." 

"It's my job baby," Andy smiles and pulls away and takes my hand turning off the light in the room 

"C'mon, let's go to bed." 

"Lead the way." my tired body let's Andy pick me up in his arms taking us to our room for a good night sleep. He truely is my blessing.
