You know when you're sleeping and you are aware of the fact that you are sleeping? Well, I was and it was pretty good sleep too. Too bad I was woken up before I was ready to give up on that sleep.

"Kye." Mason whispered in my ear. I groaned. "Wake up." He cooed.

"It's still dark out." I mumbled, not bothering to check if this was true.

"I know, babe, but I wanna show you something." He replied.

"Can't it wait until later?"

"No." he kissed my cheek. "Please, Kye." He added. I sighed heavily, reluctantly opening my eyes. Mason was leaning over me, his blue eyes full of life.

"Bath." I pouted. He was all dressed and his black hair was wet telling me that he had taken a bath not too long ago.

"Do you want me to run one for you?" he asked politely. I nodded. Mason left another kiss on my cheek before leaving the room. I took that opportunity to snuggle back under the covers and fall back to sleep. I didn't really want to bath, I actually just wanted him to leave me alone so that I could sleep.

I was just starting to enjoy my sleep again when Mason's voice interrupted me.

"Come on, Kye, water's gonna get cold." He was by the door, I could hear it.

"No." I protested. I pulled the covers over my head and hoped that he'd go. Too bad for me, Mason was persistent, too persistent for my liking.

I heard his footsteps come over to the bed and then there was a pause. I was just starting to breathe easy again when the covers were pulled off of me. I shrieked when Mason scooped me into his arms.

"I wanna sleep." I mock-cried.

"Well you can't now." He retorted. We left the bedroom and I pouted. I then threw my head back and left my body to go limp in Mason's arms accompanied by a dramatic moan.

"You are such a baby." He chuckled. He carried me into the bathroom and set me down on the edge of the bath.

"Am not."

"Okay, not a baby, we have to go in half an hour. Be quick and wear something warm." He told me. I folded my arms and crossed my one leg over the other, trying to look challenging.

"No."

Mason tilted his head to side and smiled. "Fine but if you're not done I'm throwing you over my shoulder and we're leaving anyway." He shrugged. I pouted. "Twenty-nine minutes, Kye." He added before exiting the bathroom.

I sighed heavily and decided to get going. The bath water was still very warm and it was really tempting to hang around in the bath for a while but I decided against it. I was done quickly and went to the bedroom to get dressed. Mason wasn't in there but I heard some sounds from the kitchen.

I got into some sweatpants and sneakers, putting a hoodie over my t-shirt. I slung my wet hair up into a bun and went to the kitchen. Mason was packing some stuff into a little cooler bag. He glanced up at me and chuckled.

"Oh wow, would you look at that, with five minutes to spare too." He remarked.

"Whatever." I muttered. I went over to where he was and took a grape from a bunch and popped it into my mouth.

"You know, you're very difficult to wake up." He teased.

"I know." I grumbled. Mason laughed and slung his arm around me.

"I promise, it'll be worth it, I think you're too impatient to take a moment to enjoy what I'm going to show you." He zipped the bag closed. "Let's go." He took my hand and we left the cabin.
