Chapter 24- Touché

"Raven!" I screamed loudly trying to focus my eyes "Yes" he yelled as he entered "Right there" I said my breath quickening with excitement "Shit" he cursed loudly

"Duck down when you try to enter the base this time" I told him while punching on the joystick "Ah..shit" he cursed as a sniper hit him on the side I gave him a medicine kit he got up and re-entered the base

"Honey bees on a deer's hive" I screamed as I step on a bomb which killed both of us MISSION FAILED the screen displayed I took a deep breath while trying not to look at Raven's glaring eyes

"You stepped on the bomb really?" He said with an eyeroll we've been playing COD for 5 hours and my eyes were starting to feel painful

"I gave you a medkit because you got shot at the side" I said "D and oesn't change the fact that you got us killed" he mumbled I stuck my tongue at him

"Scaredy pup" he said emphasizing on pup I tried my best not to throw the contoller at him

He smorked before throwing a bag of nova's at me i didn't catch it so it hit my face "What's this?" I asked fixing my glasses

"Dinner" he said opening a can of root bear and handing it to me I drank it down in big gulps and munched on my nova
"Is this how you eat everyday?" I asked he shrugged "Pretty much"

I looked at him weirdly "My mom would kill you" I told him and he smiled "Can't wait to meet her then"

We finished our 'dinner' if that's what you'd call it and went to sleep

"Hey scaredy pup!" A voice yelled knocking on the door I grumbled something incoherent as I slipped of the bed

I took a shower and went out of the room feeling refreshsd I should take days off school more often I thought before getting inside Rave's car

"Hey rave..." I called to him as he drived "Yeah" he asked "Can we not go to school again?" I asked as he chuckled

I entered english and immedietly saw Alice waving to me I ran to her and pulled her hair "Al...welcome back to school, you know the place we normal weres go to, zitless or not" I said teasingly

"Says the girl who slept till noon" she say rolling her eyes she opened her mouth as if to say something and then she looked behind me where Rave stood "Oh by the way this is Raven Sonter Alpha of Rising wolf" I introduced and Alice smilled at him pleasantly

"Rave, this is Alice Fray" I said and he gave her a nod and a smirk I sat on my seat beside Alice and he looked beside me where Sabrina Dubrè sat

Raven leaned into her ear and whispered something she got up nodding her head before walking off over to beside Alicia Reeves and Rave slipped into her chair

I looked st him half curious half impressed "Alpha perks" he explained cockily and I was about to give him a snarky comment when he entered the room

Dear universe was he breath taking his hair was damped and tousled his black long sleeves fitting over his body he caught my eyes as he walked towards his chair I could stare at those dark pair of ocean orbs all day

But then Mrs Kings entered grabbing our attention to say other classes before lunch matter will ba a lie so I'll save you from the boredom

"So you actually eat real food" I said as Raven grabbed a sandwhich and apple to put on his tray

"I love having lunch at home" Alice commented grabbing a salad I smirked "Who ever told you to be a vegetarian" I said Alice rolled her eyes "My consience, not that you have one" she said rolling her eyes at me with a slight smile

"Hey!" Beta Jordan called waving us over Raven didn't need the invitation he was already walking towards their table I heard Alice clear her throat before walking stiffly behind
Raven I blew hair from my face and followed them

Beautiful people and their guts to join the elite table with my gorgeous mate and his perfect girlfriend in it, I thought pathetically I sat between Rave and Hail while Alice was cramped between Beta Jordan and Rave

I swallowed heavily as Alpha Xavier took a strand of straight crimson hair and tucked it behind her ear

"Where were you guys yesterday?" Jenna asked with a slight smile "Um.." I was about to answer but then...

"It's a secret" rave answered winking at jenna but I can see his hand balled into a fist under the table

"Is it a dirty one?" Hail asked Raven slyly I looked at her my face flushed and shook my head hard

Rave laughed "Not in the least" he answered "Unless you consider playing Call of duty dirty" he added

"It could be..." Hail said suggestively at rave and I laughed nervously and lowered my eyes

Rave looked taken aback for a second before licking his lip and smirking "Unmated huh?"

"Uh..huh and not waiting" hail answered flipping her blond hair "Most people aren't" Rave said looking at Jenna who cleared her throat

"Speak for yourself" Alice quirked rolling her eyes I saw Beta Jordan take a deep breath before getting out of the table "Well, this is fun and awkward but I have to go" he said before walking off

I saw Al stiffen and I raised my eyes to hers as curiously "Later" she mouthed

"I'll second that motion" Rave said a few seconds after Beta Jordan walked away

"Oh by the way scaredy pup" he said before leaving he tossed me some keys which I caught barely "House keys" he said before walking off

I nodded my head even if he wasn't looking anymore it was Alice's turn to look curious "Later" I mouthed back

She gigled shaking her head "Touché" she said
