The Fates and What Happens When They Are In Photos

Me: Hey guys, what happens when people take pictures of you?
Spirit: I appear as a streak of white and light purple light.
Anubis: I'm really shadowy and stuff.. No matter how good the light is, I look shadowy.. Plus it looks like I got stabbed in the chest..
Curtis: It looks like I just crawled out of the grave after being buried alive. Messy hair, bloody hands, cuts on my face, dirt all over me, etc..
Dr. Sawbones: *signs* I look like a hospital patient in critical condition, like after a terrible car accident. My mouth is also duct-taped shut.
G.R: Took a damn good beating, couple of blood vessels popped in my eye, black eye, bruised neck, glass in my cheek.
Me: And why do you look like that?
Spirit: I'm a ghost, obviously..
Anubis: For the rest of us, it is because pictures are the reflection of your soul. We don't have our original souls, we have manufacted souls. Once we took up this position, our souls were taken away and replaced with a copy. We seem like the same people after this but we gained some abilities. So technically, we are the same people but technically we aren't. Our fake souls also link back to the act to become a Fate. The stab wound in me links back to my father. Curtis buried a few people alive. Sawbones pulled the plug on Levi after he got in a bad car accident, and G.R beat that one kid to death. It also happens when we look in any reflective surface and if there is video of us.
Me: Interesting. What if your original soul is stolen?
Curtis: I highly doubt that would happen due to how well Mr. H, or Spirit's dad, keeps them safe. But, if that ever did happen we would belong to whoever has possession over it until one of us manage to get it back.
Me: Lovely. What about the photos you were in before you bacame a Fate?
Dr. Sawbones: *signs* We are blurred out of them, if we were in the picture alone, it would not exist anymore. If we get ahold of our picture, then we become unblurred until we let go of the picture. This only happens due to safety precautions that Spirit's dad put up. He just doesn't want us to get into anymore trouble.
Me: Sounds legit. Do your loved ones and/or friends know about you not actually having your actual soul?
Spirit: Yep.
Anubis: I don't plan on telling Oliver, ever. I'll just tell him I don't like being in pictures, he'll understand.
Curtis: I'm not gonna tell Cyrus but if he does find out  I'll explain it to him.
Dr. Sawbones: *signs* Katherine doesn't mind at all, she is my bro and she doesn't judge me.
G.R: ......Eli doesn't know I'm a Fate..
Curtis: Who's Eli?
G.R: Just a close friend!
Curtis: Okay...
