* Andi’s POV *
Weeks have passed and it’s almost time for formal and graduation. Who would have thought that I’d be able to come this far? Surely, not me, but I was happy I did. After all those troubles I have experienced this year, I didn’t think I would last this long.
“Hey, so are you excited for graduation and formal yet?” Kim asked as she dived into my bed with Fiona.
“You girls are so early!”
I just woke up and just freshened up but I did leap back to bed with them. “Well, I’m excited that it’s ending.”
“So who’s gonna be your formal date?” Fiona asked.
“I’m not going.”
“What? Why not?” Kim asked.
“It’s not my thing…”
“Didn’t Jai ask you out?” Fiona inquired.
“Nope. I told him it wasn’t my thing right from the start and I’m not going. No one can force me.”
“Unless it’s Luke right…” Kim commented.
It was actually true. I remember the time Luke and I was talking about formal and we made a promise to each other that he is going to be my date to formal. And it’s true that one of the main reasons I’m not going is because he’s not gonna be that guy anymore and I don’t want to go to my formal with another date.
“You’re crazy, Andrea!” Kim stated.
“What did I do now?”
“You’re still in love with Luke. That’s like I don’t know how to put it.”
“I’m just loyal.”
“That’s not even the word for it. It’s something else. Omg it’s at the tip of my tongue.” Kim expressed.
“Well that’s love…” I uttered.
“But that doesn’t feel like love anymore. Seriously Andrea, how can you move on when your heart still beats for Luke? Jai has been waiting…” Fiona said.
“I know I feel bad about it but I tried. I just can’t.” I replied.
“Aren’t you leading him on?” Kim inquired.
“I don’t know. I feel like I am but I already told him at the start that I can offer him friendship. I told him, I’m not closing my doors but well you never know what happens right.” I exclaimed.
“Sad, but true.” Fiona uttered.
We chatted about other things until I got ready for the mall. Kim and Fiona are gonna buy their formal dress and apparently they need me to check out what looks good on them. We headed to the mall and went to every store. We’ve even bumped into Sam, Kaity, and Julie shopping for their formal dresses as well.
“Hey, have you found anything yet?” Julie asked me.
“Oh I wasn’t looking. I’m just here to check what Kim and Fiona are getting.” I replied.
“You already have a dress?” Kaity asked.
“No, I’m not coming. It’s not my thing.” I uttered.
“Wtf Jai, you haven’t asked her yet?” Sam exclaimed and apparently, some of the boys were out with them, including Jai… and Luke.
I was shocked. I thought that it was just the girls shopping and it seems that Sam hasn’t forgotten about the time I chose Robert and the gang over them. I totally understand but I don’t really care at all. I’ve already said my peace and well, you can’t please everyone.
