Chapter 41-Drunk

I felt the heavy rain drop from my head falling to my bare shoulders my teeth chattering loudly I felt the cold drops of rain prick my skin again and again as if they're needles filled with ice

Everything felt numb my fingertips my lips my face everything numb of feeling but my heart remained hurting so I turned to the table and grabbed the bottle of wine putting it between my lips

I tipped my head back as the warm red liquid filled my mouth I gulped it down and when I have swallowed every last drop the bottle has to offer I let it drop in the wet sand

I heard the silent buzzing of my phone and I took off my now wet glasses letting it fall to the ground with the empty bottle I squinted at the screen The fifth Rave calling....

"Hellooooo" I said trying to speak despite the chattering of my teeth "Where are you?" Rave's voice asked me and I laughed "Here" I breathed raising my face so rain drops splattered all over it still holding the phone against my ear

"Are you okay?" He asked and I opened my mouth tasting the rain it was like water but sweeter I licked my lips "It's raining down on me" I told Rave "Are you drunk?" He asked loudly and I laughed before dropping the phone

I sat at the sand hugging my knees rocking myself and humming softly as my tears mixed with the rain I stayed there thinking that if I stay under the rain long enough it's coldness will start reaching my heart fully numbing it...

The rain stopped and everything was moving as I sat still rocking myself continously humming without tune, after a couple if minutes I felt a jacket fall over my shoulder nd a hand curling around my arm raising me to my feet, I looked at Raven who was looking at the empty bottle of wine beside me

Happiness bubbled from the bottom of my stomach to my mouth which escaped as uncontrollable laughter not knowing what's funny but instantly remembering what was painful when I noticed that Alpha Xavier was standing behind Rave

I rested my forehead against Raven's chest "Rave" I called "Yeah Scaredypup? " He asked running his hands over my wet hair

"My heart is breaking" I whispered against his chest tears streaming out of my closed eyes "I know...mine too" he said resting his hands on my back

I sobbed, my hand raising to his chest where I clutched the material in a tight fist "I can feel it breaking Rave....and it hurts so bad" I cried again punching his chest he continued to run his hand over my back comforting me

I sniffed his shirt "Have I ever told you that you smell nice?" I asked and continued to sniff his shirt I felt him chuckled "Nope, you never mentioned it" he said

"Well you do..." I said raising my head off his chest to look at his face "You have nice eyes" I said touching his eyelids "And hair" I said grasping his blond hair "And cheeks" I said poking his cheeks I tried to focus my eyes

"You are like the big brother I never had" I told him Rave smiled and before I could tell him that he's smile is nice, a hand pulled me away from Raven

"That's enough." Alpha Xavier said in a stern voice his hand warm against my skin I looked at his cold blue eyes and I rested my hands against his cheeks "You have soft cheeks too" I said my eyes heavy Alpha Xavier tossed Raven's jacket from my shoulder back at Rave before resting his black leather jacket around me

i sniffed the jacket and his scent made my knees feel weak "You smell good too" I said sniffing his jacket he sighed shaking his head at me

I scowled at him before rubbing my eyes sleepily and yawning widely, Alpha Xavier clicked his tongue impatiently as he scooped me in his arms and everything else didn't matter, I rested the side of my head against his chest listening to his heart the sound of it's steady beating imprinting on my mind

"You always make me cry" I told him snuggling closer as his warmth engulfed me I noticed that I was moving which meant that he was walking

I looked at him to see him looking at me his perfect face looming down on me reminding me of angels my heart skipped a beat

"You always do that too" I whispered and he tilted his head "What?" He asked "Make me fall in love with you over and over again" I said

He stopped walking and I hear ear him take a deep breath "Then don't" he said in a cold voice I frowned at him "Too late" I breathed "Why?" He asked walking again

I tapped my fingertip against the tip of his nose "Because I'm in too deep that it's starting to consume me " I answered tracing the map of his face with my fingers "I'm sorry...I lied" I apologized quietly he stiffened before clearing his throat

"About what?" He asked me shaking my head thoroughly "I told you that if you still feel nothing after this night, I'll let you go...I lied...I can't let you go" I said pressing my fingertips against his soft lips shivering from the sizzle of electricity thst ran trough me before closing my eyes slowly giving into the tug of dreams...

But right before consiousness slipped through my fingers I heard him whispered softly, "Good"
