Nashi's POV
"Go away, Gale." I had my luggage packed and ready. All that was left was for Gale to move away from the door. He wouldn't budge. I tried pushing him out of the way but, with his muscular features, how could I compete with that?
"Nash, you're not thinking straight." he started. "Let's go back, don't leave."
I shook my head, "What the hell is wrong with you?!" I snapped. "I'm leaving whether you like it or not!" I was about to kick him where-it-hurts but, he got his hand in the way.
"Whoa, not cool, dude. I need this."
I scoffed, sighing in defeat, I lied on my back on the bed. "Why did it have to turn out this way?" I covered my eyes with my arms.
I felt the bed get heavy when Gale sat beside me, patting my head. "Tell me what happened, Nash. I can't help you otherwise.."
"I told Jer."
"You, what?! Why?!"
"I don't know--out of boredom, I guess." I shrugged, sitting up then, resting my head on his shoulder. "Then, he was gonna say something back but, he just froze. Maybe he was gonna reject me--Ow!" I winced in pain after being hit on the head. "Hey, what the hell was that for?!"
He clicked his tongue full of annoyance, tapping me on the forehead. “You really think Jer doesn't feel the same way? Seriously? He's as obvious as a naked baby.” he scoffed, rolling his eyes.
“Stop trying to make me feel better. It's not working.” I warned him. I got up on my feet, started pulling my bag but, he stopped me by pulling me by my wrist. I didn't have to turn, I was trying to break free from his grasp but, to no surprise, he placed me on top of his shoulders then dropped me on the bed again.
“Gale-!”
He dropped himself beside me, with his arm assisting as he leaned by his side. He stared at me, still holding both of of my wrists near his chest. “Is washy-Nashi gonna chwy?” he pouted, teasing me.
“Gale--” I couldn't help but giggle at his remark. “Stop it! You're makin' me lose it.”
He barely kissed my hand before returning them to me. “Gave up now?”
I sighed, wrapping my arms around my chest. “Why the hell did you stop me from going? You saw Rain. She looked miserable, shocked to see Jer spouting... spouting...”
“His confession.” he nods, “Bow just can't accept the fact that Jer's in love with you and not her. Which meant losing to you. Which meant losing her dignity as the 'all-time-champ-all-her-life' gig in front of us.” he stated sarcastically. “My point is, since you two clearly love each other, then, just go. Just make out or something. It always does the trick whenever break ups and other mishaps happen.”
I shrugged, shaking my head. “I like Jer. He likes me(?), I don't know. But, I do know that I don't want him to get involved with me. His parents wouldn't have approved. A slutty bitch is dating Jeremy Fernandez?” I sulked, wrapping my legs across my chest.
“Hey, have you forgotten? All our parents had been friends before we were even born. They've known each other since college and sticked together till their olden days. How is the love affair between their children gonna be bad for them? I mean, I, for one, think it'd be a great idea--it'd bring the family closer, right?”
