I honestly enjoyed writing this one so so much, so I hope oliviayyee95 enjoys as well! (:

-Olivia's POV-

"Go Wolves go!"I shouted, cheering on my favourite basketball team, the Minnesota Timberwolves.

I was front row at the game, in my Zach LaVine jersey. He's my favourite player for sure. I mean, I love all the players, but Zach just stands out in a way that no one else does.

The first quarter ended, and the Timberwolves were beating the Utah Jazz by 6 points. It was unbelievable.

As the players were gathered at their team's respective benches, I noticed Zach looking at me. I was sitting super close to the Timberwolves' bench, so I knew he was looking right at me. I gave him a small smile. He returned the smile, but it was more of a grin.

"Dude, stop staring at that girl and focus,"I heard Tyus Jones tell Zach. It made me burst out laughing. Zach blushed a bit before turning around towards the coach.

Zach started walking by me to the locker rooms. "Where are you going?"I couldn't help but exclaim as he walked by. "Are you still playing? Are you leaving?"I questioned quickly.

Zach chuckled, stopping in front of me. "I just have to go to the bathroom,"he informed. I mumbled,"Oh, sorry." "No, it's fine,"he chuckled before jogging to the back.

A few minutes later, Zach came back out. As he jogged by me, he gave me a wink.

When Zach was sitting down, I saw him mouth something to me. I didn't understand what he was saying so I mouthed back "What?"

He started gesturing towards my jersey, and then I understood. Zach was saying that he liked my jersey. I laughed a bit and gave him a thumbs up.

Second quarter started, and it seemed as if Zach was literally on fire. He was getting bucket after bucket in. The Wolves gained a larger lead at the end of the second, 13. I was super happy, cheering as loud as I could.

The players headed to the back, and I heard Towns and Wiggins joking around with Zach.

They were talking about a fan and telling Zach not to get caught up with the girl. Wait.... Were they talking about me?!

I ducked my head as they walked by me, pretending to be on my phone. That was pretty awkward.

When the players came back after their break, Zach dropped something in my lap as he ran past me. It was a piece of paper.

I slowly opened it up and read what it said: This might sound really weird, but I want to get to know you. Please meet me after the game in the parking lot by the entrance. I'll be waiting there -Zach

I looked up from the paper and saw Zach looking at me from a few feet away. He nodded his head towards me as if to ask if I would meet him. I nodded back. He smiled before focusing on what his coach was saying.

The third quarter started and Minnesota just continued to dominate, with the roaring fans cheering them on. It was so fun cheering. The Timberwolves took the win, 93-81.

I waited for a majority of the crowd to clear out of the arena before heading to the parking lot.

Someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and saw Zach. I gave him a smile and hug.

"Hi, nice to properly meet you,"I greeted. He chuckled and replied,"Yeah, you too."

"You killed it tonight. Congrats on the win,"I congratulated. Zach nodded. "Thank you."

Zach asked,"So, what's your name?" "I'm Olivia,"I introduced. "Beautiful name for a beautiful girl,"he complimented.

I blushed and mumbled,"That's so cliché." He laughed and nudged my shoulder. "Just let me be cliché,"he said. I laughed and held my hands up. "Okay, okay! Go ahead sir!"I exclaimed.

"So, would you be okay with going to dinner with me?"Zach asked awkwardly. I smiled and nodded,"Of course. I would love that." "Do you want to go right now?"he eagerly questioned.

I sighed,"Honestly, I just want to grab some McDonald's and change into some PJs at home." "I'm pretty down for that,"Zach agreed. I asked,"Really?" He nodded.

"Let's do it then. My place isn't too far,"I said. Zach wondered,"What about your car?" "Oh, I took a taxi here. My car's already at home, so don't worry about that,"I smiled. He nodded. "Sounds good."

Zach ushered me to his beautiful car and let me into the passenger's seat. He then quickly got to the driver's seat and started the car.

"Let me just find the closest McDonald's,"Zach muttered, focusing on tapping letters into the GPS.

He looked so damn cute. I couldn't help but smile.

After Zach found out the nearest location, he drove into a McDonald's drive-through.

As we waited in the line, he quickly asked me,"What do you want to eat?" "I really want chicken nuggets and fries,"I dreamily said. He chuckled and nodded. "Any burger or drink or anything?" "Nah, I'm good,"I replied. I quickly added,"Could I please get a McFlurry too? Oreo flavour." Zach chuckled and nodded. "Of course, princess."

When it was our turn to order, Zach relayed through the food we wanted and then drove to the window to pay and collect the food.

I immediately put some fries in my mouth as Zach drove away. "Pass me a fry,"Zach said, starting to hold his hand out. "Both hands on the steering wheel!"I exclaimed, making him laugh and place his hand back on the wheel.

"I'll feed you. Open your mouth,"I instructed. Zach opened his mouth obnoxiously big and I shoved a bunch of fries into it, laughing. "I said a fry, not all the fries,"he said, although he was laughing himself.

I told Zach my address and he drove over to my house. "Come on in,"I said, holding the door open for Zach once we were at my house.

We walked into the living room. "Damn, your house is nice,"he commented, looking around. I laughed. "Thanks. I decorated it myself. And it's quite big. Gets really lonely sometimes."

"Hey, now that we're sort of friends now, I think, I'll hang out with you here,"Zach smiled. I grinned and nodded,"I'd really like that."

I announced,"I'm going to change into pyjamas now." Zach chuckled,"Okay Olivia."

"You can call me Liv. And if you want, some of my older brother's clothes are here from when he visits with his wife. You can wear them. I don't think he would mind,"I informed.

"I'm not sure they'll fit,"he replied, laughing. "Nah, he's pretty tall. Like 6'3'' I think,"I remembered. Zach said,"Oh, well I'm 6'5'', so maybe."

I went up to the guest room and rummaged through the mostly empty dresser drawers. I pulled out a pair of black sweatpants and a grey sweatshirt. I went down the stairs and handed the clothes to Zach.

"Here. There's a bathroom right there,"I pointed out. Zach nodded, walking towards the bathroom.

I quickly went up to my room and changed into my Batman pyjamas, putting my hair up in a bun.

I went downstairs and saw Zach sitting on the couch. "You look so cute, Liv,"Zach said when he saw me. I giggled,"Thank you."

I sat down next to Zach and turned on the TV. "Netflix?"I asked. "Sure. Do you want to watch a movie?"he questioned. I replied,"Yeah, sure. How about White Chicks?" Zach agreed,"Yeah, let's watch it."

I turned it on and sat back, eating my McDonald's. Zach did the same. We ended up falling asleep on the couch.

Let's just say that that was the start of a beautiful relationship full of cute, spontaneous moments, just like how it started that one night Zach and I met at a Timberwolves game.
