She turns back to the professor but her mind still freezes at the moment when she looked back and what she saw shook her completely. It was that guy, the guy from the plane.
She listens to the lecture and tries to focus but it's very hard for her, firstly, because the pristine environment is hard to take in and secondly, him.
The class is over and she jolts up to avoid any conversation, she was bad at it, to begin with.
So, she gets up and leaves as quickly as she can, to her next class. She doesn't want to be late again.
She has pathology now and has no idea where it is, she walks along the hallway trying to look for pathology, frustrated by herself, she walks speedily but is stopped by the guy who starts walking beside her.
"Hi Zareena!" His voice is filled with amusement, "seriously happy to see you again and wow! You're a scholarship winner? That's really great!"
Zareena replies softly, "thanks."
"So, wait-that reminds me, I never introduced myself." He says urgently.
Zareena thinks to herself, "ugh introductions, please make it quick."
"Hey, I'm Bilal! Nice to meet you." He says with a smile and extends a hand towards her.
Zareena, not knowing how to respond to that, stands there fidgeting, "nice to meet you too."
"Oh," he recovers and takes his hand down. "so, where are you heading to?" He asks, trying to start a conversation.
"Pathology."
"Oh, I hate that class, anyway, see you later then," he says and starts going back.
"um-...ex-excuse me?" She blurts out.
Bilal turns back immediately.
"Do-do you know where the class is?" Zareena speaks, her cheeks burning.
"For pathology?" He then adds, "yeah, it's in the next block, on the second floor from the staircase, and the third class to the right, next to the microbiology laboratory." He says this very quickly.
Unable to take all that in, she stares at him dumbfounded. "What?"
He lets out a small laugh, "okay follow me," he says kindly.
Following him seems like a deja vu, it's like it was only yesterday when she was at the airport.
She follows him all the while listening to the details about the campus and looking awestruck, wondering how big of a place this is. When finally, they reach the place, he stops talking and she records the place in her mind to save her from further embarrassment.
Pathology, was written, outside the class.
Luckily, she's not very late as she looks at people still entering the class.
She turns over to thank him but he's already walking down the stairs. So, she decides to walk inside the classroom and seats herself in a bench on the corner.
The teacher who introduces herself as Mrs Francis, later calls the end of the class, which was mostly the introduction to the first chapter.

She has a class after 30 mins, so, she checks out the cafeteria as she hasn't eaten anything since morning. The cafeteria is bigger than she expected with lots of benches, spread around an area with different food items. She joins the queue, walks a little while picking her food on a tray and then seats herself on an empty bench.
