Chapter 4~ Monkeys Fair And his Blond

It was a Monday and it was now exactly 4:00

Connor texted me if I wanted to go to the Carnival that was in town.

I thought it was a date or something crazy like that and I was going to say no but then he said it'd be with just a few friends so I agreed. I just don't think it'd be any good for me to go out with him. I mean I barley know the guy.

So after taking a shower I decided what I was wearing today. I just went with my red faded crop top that had GEEK in black block letters and some highwaisted washed shorts that had a lace trim at the bottom and a brown braided belt. And with my white high top convers. And for my hair I just did a side braid and went natrual with my face. ( Finished look at top)

I slipped my phone and money in my front pockets. I decided since I was done pretty early I'd go to Connor's myself. It was only 5:30 so I went to his room and wait for him to answer the door.

He answered the door dressed in a plain grey sweatshirt with black jeans and black convers.

"You came? I was just gunna go get you" he said surprised. He got his keys and closed the door behind him.

"Well I guess I just beat you to it" I said with a smile as we walked into the elevator.

We got into his car and he made a different turn because the Fair was the other way. I gave him a confused look and he said "We need to pick up a friend of mine shes tagging along with us and Kian." I gave him an okay nod.

We stopped outside a sorority house and out came a a petiet blond girl who was wearing way to much make up and it showed with her fake tan. Her outfit consisted of a tight dress that had white printing on it. Who is this girl?

"Hey Connor!" She said with a high pitched voice. Oh come on.

"Hey Hales! Jump in " he said back to "Hales?" What. I mean its not like I'm jeleous or something what is there to be jeleous about I don't like Connor.

"I wanted to go in the front with you" she said pouting. Stop. Is she serious?

"Umm there's plenty room in the back" I responded for Connor. She squinted her eyes at me and scowled.

I turned over to Connor and he gave me a pleading look. I exhaled loud and got out and went in the back of the car.

Connor finally started heading towards the Fair. I was hoping it'd be a nice quiet ride but I couldn't get that.

"So who's this? " Haley said from the front seat.

"Oh this is just my friend Bethany we met on the first day" Connor explained.

"Oh how cute a little friend!" She said. Please continue to talk please!

Note the sarcasm.

"Wait so am I like a third wheel?" I asked from the back seat. He never said anything about him practically bringing me on this little date! I can see why he didn't tell me! He knew I'd say no! I hate him!

"No remember Kians coming along" he said while turning around real fast and gave me a smile.

"Oh how could I forget even better!" I said with sarcasm.

We finally got to the fair and met Kian by the ticket booth. We got some ticketes for everyone and headed towards the games. We decided to play a basketball game.

"Ooo Connor can you get me the big Monkey!" Hallie squealed. I knew I shouldn't have come. I'm already annoyed.

"Sure" he won the big monkey after he shot the amount of baskets needed.
