A/N:
Well, well, well. I think I'm doing okay with the storyline in this so far. I found an interesting plot that will most likely get better as it goes along. This chapter is kind of short, but I promise that chapter 4 will be longer. This chapter actually has some action in it, so yay! Please excuse my bad attempt at action and shtuff. Anyway. Here's the chapter! Comment/Rate/Like/Enjoy!

Chapter 3:
I opened my eyes to the sound of yelling, and things slamming against walls. Guess I must have fallen asleep… My eyebrows pulled together in confusion, looking around at the empty room. It was rather lonely in here, I wondered where Walker went. Or Zaile, or even Chase. I heard Chase’s loud voice booming in another room, but it ceased after a yell sounded. Chase… What’s going on?
I stood up from the ancient couch, my head darting from side to side. I was tempted to call someone’s name out, but that could be dangerous. I crept over to the sounds carefully, picking up a broken lamp post that lay on the floor. My breathing was heavy- set, listening carefully for any sign of danger. Our hideout was being raided, that’s for sure. By who, though? Was it the same gang as that guy from yesterday? No, it couldn’t be. I was on the other side of town, they couldn’t have a clue about us… I hope.
A door flew open a couple feet away from me; I raised my makeshift weapon, taking a stumble back. Two unfamiliar guys were in front of me within a couple seconds, damn. How am I going to get out of trouble this time?
“Who are you?” came a dark, scratchy voice.
“Who am I?” I repeated, raising a brow in unison with the corner of my mouth. “I’m none of your concern. Now get out of here before you get hurt, I don’t want to hear you crying to your mother.” Sometimes, I feel so damned lucky to have taken martial arts when I was younger, if only for a little while.
I held the medium- length bar in my hands; I could swear my knuckles went red because of my nervous grip. The two hooded figures turned to each other, before lunging towards me with quick steps. I frowned, my feet planted onto the ground. I couldn’t lose this fight. I used as much strength as I could, slamming the tube against one of their shoulders. He grunted in pain, taking steps away. I stuck my foot out at the other, watching him trip over my ankle. I grinned, “two against one, and I’m still winning!”
Ehh… I guess I shouldn’t have spoken too soon. Within a couple seconds, I was pinned to the floor, I felt fists pounding at my abdomen. My teeth gritted, eyes shut. Damn, why am I so useless…? I managed to focus enough to kick the guy off of me, scrambling to my feet as fast as I could. While I still had the time, I plunged the lamp pole into his spinal cord, once, twice, thrice. Oh wait… What about the other guy…
I was thrown to the ground with a thump, my cheekbone shattered against the hard floor, or that’s what it felt like. My breathing was uneven, my vision sort of blurred. Damn… Just when I thought I could save myself. I could barely move, as my stomach was pinned to the floor with his knee. My only sort of weapon was thrown against the ground, out of my reach. Now, I could feel the cold metal pressed against the back of my neck, and I could feel how the bar was being pushed closer and closer to the floor.
I struggled under the weight, trying to move, even a bit. I tried to lift my head, but I couldn’t. “Guh….G-… Get off of me…” I growled, staring at the monotonous ground in front of me.
“…Who the fuck are you?!” I heard him say. Which confused me because I clearly stated who I was earlier…
“Um, well, I’m kind o-…” I guess he wasn’t talking to me.
“Hey, sorry to ruin your parade, but you can’t quite kill that guy right over there,” I heard someone say, it was rather familiar. “So just like… Back off before I have to kill you instead.” Yup, that was definitely Walker.
The next thing I heard was some creepy- ass laughter. Then everything just blacked out.
