"The loser must paddle the bicycle around the park." Jungkook said after he parked his car.We were planning to ride a bicycle so,who arrive at the bicycle shop first will get to ride and the loser has to paddle.Since he knew I'm a slow runner he let me go first but I was just a few metres away from him and he was already ahead of me.
"Yah,Jeon Jungkook!That's not fair!" I said while catching up to him.
"Come and catch me!" He looked back at me and continued running.Since he was busy running,I just walk knowing that I'm gonna lose anyway.He arrived there and I caught up to him.He smiled at me mischievously.
"I know.I know.Okay,I lose you win.I'm going to pay for the ride." I said as I took out my money from my wallet.He stopped me from paying.
"No,no..I'm a gentleman so let me pay for you." He took out his money and quickly paid to the cashier.
"Alright,your ride is only for one hour and don't damage the bicycle." The cashier said as he handed Jungkook the key.We nodded and walked out to choose a bicycle.Jungkook unlocked a big red black bicycle.
"Soyeon~~come on." He said excitedly while I just had my poker face.I sat on the front seat and when Jungkook was about to seat on the back I started paddling the bicycle causing him to fall.I laughed to my heart's content and turned back to help him.I offered my hand and he took it but he pulled me down.I landed on top of him and I could feel my cheeks turning red.Then,I immediately sat next to him.
"What the hell,Jungkook?!" I stood up and dusted my jeans.
"That's for making me fall to my butt.It hurts." He scrunched and rubbed his butt.I scoffed and laughed.
"Oh,I thought you were the muscle pig so you must be strong right?But this.." I chuckled and I saw his face changed.I looked at him and he suddenly lifted me and carried me bridal style.
"Y-yah..What are you doing?" I asked him nervously.
"I'm gonna show you that I'm not that weak person you've seen earlier." He said placed me on the back seat of the bicycle.He sat on the front and took my hands then wrapped them around his waist.He started paddling the bicycle and it was really quiet.I kept on holding him and sat quietly behind him.He slowed down his speed and stopped cycling.
"Let's take a break." He said and panted a bit.I nodded and both of us sat on a bench.I looked at him and he was sweating so much.I felt somehow guilty for making him paddle the bicycle so,I thought of something that could make him feel better.
"Jungkook,wait here.I'm going to buy something." I stood up and before he could reply I ran to the nearest convenient store.I bought drinks and snacks for us.After paying,I walked back to the park and to the place where we sat earlier.When I was about to reach there,I saw Jungkook...talking to a girl.She's probably the same age as us or younger.I heaved a sigh and continued walking.
"Oh,Soyeon!Come quick!" Jungkook stood up and pulled my hand.I followed as he dragged me to the bench.
"Jungkook..is this your new girlfriend?" The girl asked and Jungkook shook his head.
"Soyeon,this is Yoora my friend from Busan.Yoora,this is Soyeon my best friend." He introduced us and we shook hands.She's pretty,tall and petite.She matches perfectly with Jungkook's ideal type.Could the girl be her?
"Nice to meet you,Soyeon but I'm sorry..I have to go now.I got something to do.Jungkook,I'll call you later.Bye!" She bowed at us and left.Both Jungkook and I watched her as she was out of our sight.
"Why you didn't tell me about her?" I asked him.
"She's uh..nobody important.Just a friend.Where did you go just now?" He quickly changed the topic.I wonder what's his relationship with the girl before.
