He froze. I breathed in and out, following his own breathing. Slowly, his arms wrapped around me, his muscles still tense.
"You won't kill him, Xavier." I mumbled, meeting his dark gaze.
He went to protest but I cut him off. "I will."
Anna Foster is happy with her life. Being an Angel has it's perks and she's not about to give them up to babysit some half dog, half human freaks. Too bad she doesn't have a choice. After getting sent to Earth by her 'supervisor,' Anna's already hoping to get this trip over and done with as fast as possible.
