Tyler is the prince of the red kingdom and Mike is the prince of the blue kingdom. They fell in love.
Another kingdom appears and hopes to take over the red kingdom, and war begins. In order to gain a strong alliance with the blue kingdom, Tyler and Mike get married. The two kingdoms protect each other from the third as best they can. In doing so, they begin to  fail in caring for their citizens.
A group of citizens from both kingdoms form a protest, breaking certain laws and threatening revolution. This group call themselves the Violet Revolution.

One day Tyler and Mike grow tired of the citizens revolting and want to make it clear that they cannot win a war and keep everyone happy at the same time. They invite the leaders of the group over to talk on peace.

The leader comes with his second in command, and they talk until the leader gets frustrated with what Mike and Tyler offer and storms out. The second in command, Onity, stays and states that he agrees with their ideas and thinks his leader wants too much. He continues their conversation, in the end agreeing to provide help in their war against the third kingdom if Mike and Tyler provide more aid to their citizens. He becomes their citizen representative.

   Onity begins to spend more time around Mike and Tyler during meetings, eventually gaining more of a personal relationship with them, and he slowly drops his more serious persona. He makes flirty jokes to both of them and isn't afraid to be himself in their presence.

Mike and Tyler though begin to have a thing for Onity and one day they start to flirt back, which catches Onity off guard. It continues until Onity visits the kingdoms for more the just citizen representative business, finding excuses to be there with them during late hours. He stays by their sides when they discuss the war with a sick feeling in their stomaches or when they're alone and have no worries in the world.

Their romance is always just between the three, as it would be looked down upon by both citizens and royalty if people found out. It is frowned upon for a couple to love a third and it is even worse for royalty to love anyone of lower class. Because of this, Onity must always keep his distance or formally greet them when in the room with others, and cannot spend as much time as he wants in the castle with them.

Sometimes Onity sneaks in with flowers or something and it always freaks Mike and Tyler out because they have no clue how he is able to get around the large amount of guards they have around the kingdom that don't let you in unless given prior notice.  But the flowers are really sweet and there is always some vase in the hallway that could hold them.
