A/N: Hey guys. I was going to update yesterday but fell asleep in the middle of writing so I apologise. This chapter is more focussed on Jin and Taehyung more than anything so it isn't as good but I hope you like it.

Nothing was the same after what happened. The days that followed weren't at all the same as they were previously. Each day was cold, lifeless. The sun always seems to be hidden behind the grey clouds in the sky. The temperature of the air was always like ice.

Jungkook was never the same. He changed, and not for the better. After Taehyung's rejection, Jungkook returned to that same hollow shell he knew all to well. He stopped walking to and from school, instead opting to be driven. His face was always emotionless, never smiling nor changing. It was like all of his life had been taken from him and he was just a living corpse, wandering without a purpose. Everywhere he went, a chill followed closely. He didn't even take part in conversations with his friends. To say they were worried for the younger was the least. Especially Jin. Seeing the young one so hurt broke his heart. Jin remembered the night Jungkook rang him to tell him what happened.

*Flashback*

"Hello?" Jin answered. Jungkook just sniffed as he tried to stop his tears to speak but to no avail. "Jungkook what's wrong?" Jin asked immediately concerned.

"H-he rejected me" was all the younger could reply. Jin was speechless. He couldn't comprehend that Taehyung had rejected Jungkook. He believed that they were perfect for one and other. The older friend didn't know what words of advice to give as Jungkook just let the tears stream constantly down his face. Jin just told him to keep breathing while he tried to think of something to help the situation, only to come up blank. Just hearing Jungkook cry on the other end was enough to make anyone's heart sink.

"Talk to me Jungkook" Jin said cautiously, not wanting to make the younger feel worse. "Tell me what happened".

Jungkook started to explain all that occurred, although Jin couldn't completely understand the situation as Jungkook couldn't stop his tears but the older got the basic idea. He felt somewhat proud that Jungkook was mature on his date, but heartbroken that it didn't end the way any of them wished. All Jin could tell the younger was that he was there for him and to try and rest. The night was just filled with the tears and cries of Jungkook.

*end of flashback*

Following that conversation, Jungkook became what he was like now. Empty. Jin knew that he and his friend had to do something but what they could do was the real question.

"Jin! Jinnie!" A deep voice called out to the male as he walked down the hallway in school. Jin stopped and turned to face the direction of the voice.

"Oh, hey Namjoon" he greeted the male. Jimin also joined Namjoon too. "Hi Jimin"

"Hi Jin!" Jimin chirped but then his expression turned into a dark one, Namjoon's too. "H-have you seen Jungkook today?" He asked Jin nervously.

"No, why?" Jin replied, raising his eyebrow.

"He hasn't turned up...again" Namjoon informed with a slightly saddened tone.

"What? Again? That's three days in a row now" Jin rolled his eyes in frustration. Yes it was true. Jungkook hadn't been into school for the last three days. His parents still hadn't returned from wherever they were this time and there has been no word from them or Jungkook himself. It started to make all of them feel worried. It's not like Jungkook to ever miss school no matter the situation. The whole thing was so usual. Jin could only sigh with worry. "I'll go over to his estate later to check on him" he informed the other two. They both nodded in agreement. They all said their momentary goodbyes and went their separate ways to class. However Jin couldn't focus at all, knowing that Jungkook wasn't present.
