chapter 12{revised}

once again i have been stuck

i thought for this scene i would make Nova go on heat

but then i realized that would be a little weird

thanks to all who stuck with me though out the story

and thank you all for supporting Daniel and Nova

Daniel's pov-

i didn't mean to hurt her i didn't mean it. the fear in her eyes when she looked at me was enough to make me run away when Kyle told me too and too keep running the look still ever present in my head

'we hurt mate, we hurt mate' Kolbies words bounced through my head

i moved faster until my legs burnt and i had to slow down my chest filled with sadness and i raised my head and howled into the sky towards the moon that had already risen high on it's blackened canvas cursing at myself i began to run again

Novas pov-

i laid curled up in the cold infirmary bed i looked out the window the moon shone into the already dark room lighting it up i smiled a little

"happy birthday to me" i muttered quietly

feeling a sharp pain hit my stomach clutching an arm there but it wasn't the wound it was something else something deeper that burnt my entire body to the core i cried out in pain rolling onto my side curling up into a ball i heard the clinic doors open

"Nova?, oh god, doctor" she yelled out and i heard the talking muffled

who was that? i couldn't figure out who it was but it was familiar

a growl left my throat an animistic noise that scared me i shifted back on the bed as my head began to throb i forced myself to lay down

Amy's pov-

"what's wrong with her?" i growled out my wolf uncomfortable at the sight of her Luna in pain

Nova tossed from side to side her back arching blood dripped from her mouth where she had probably bitten her tongue

"i-i-i don't know"

another growl ripped through her chest as i looked back to her she was on her stomach her head pressed tightly into the mattress she turned her head up to look at us her eyes were open and not their usual blue but ultra marine she has a wolf? it's too early for her to have one even with her being an Alpha she snarled at us raising her body off the bed only to collapse again with a cry of pain i moved forwards only earning a warning growl

"Nova it's me Amy?"

she snarled loudly anger in her eyes she growled louder in a way that had my head bowing and me backing off i heard a smashing noise

"where's Nova" said the familiar voice of Daniel

i heard his foot steps coming closer a growl left my throat as i turned to the door to Nova's room leaving in it only to come face to face with the reason why she was here in the first place

Daniel's pov-

my wolf had told me to come here he was more then just worried something had to be wrong i didn't know my mate was in here and the only thing that i wanted was to see her

but she pushed me outside Amy i growled let m--

"how dare you" she hissed her eyes dark with anger teeth bared and i growled back making a move to go past her but she blocked me

"how dare you decide to come here now after what you did" i snarled

"move" i got out inches away from doing something i would regret

my wolf wanting to get to Nova and i wanted to do the same something was wrong i wanted to know what it was but Amy still didn't move so i pulled rank my next words were in my Alpha tone something she couldn't disagree  with and she stepped away and i moved into the room that was flooded with my mates scent but i was met with a frantic pack doctor and my mate Nova who was livid growling and snarling she never was able to do that her eyes were an ultra marine i moved over to her and she watched me warning growls left her throat as i sat on the bed pulling her to me

"calm down Nova" i whispered

instantly feeling her body relaxing into me i pulled back tilting her head up so she was looking at me her eyes were closed but slowly peeled open to show her tierd blue irises she blinked at me and her eyes flashed with fear as she pushed me away and tried to get away from me and i let her go.
