I woke up with the sound of my own body thudding to the floor as I drop from the bed
"Hey Ash" Raven said with a weak smile my head tilted to the side "What's up?" I asked him worriedly
He shook his head as if shaking a thought out of his head "You want to go out?" He asked me out of the blue
"Where?" I asked grabbing an orange juice it tasted funny but meh who cares? "To the mall" Raven answered I choked on the juice
"Why?" I asked Raven threw a spoon at me "Nothing let's watch a movie or something" he said and I nodded my head slowly
"Rave what's up? Knowing you what you would usually want to do is play COD all day long" I said
Raven sighed "I need a break" he said swiftly "I'm tired of this shit and I'm tired of this drama and I want to go to the mall with my bestfriends" he said
I nodded slowly "Wait bestfriends? " I asked curiously Raven's sad eyes sparked with excitement "It's time you meet some people" he said with a smirk
I trailed slowly side by side with Raven who was getting a lot of attention with human girls and a little few boys actually we stopped infront of Pizza Hut where one guy was waiting
"Raven! Hey man" the guy said I looked at the tall dude and my eyes widened "Jace?" I asked looking at the lemon haired guy with light blue eyes
"Little Ash?" He said and I felt my cheeks flush and I cringed as the silly nick name left his lips "You guys know each other?" Raven asked
"Kind of" Jace answered pointing at me "This girl used to be at the pack that I was born into but then she left in the middle of third grade after her dad...." Jace trailed off
Died, died is the word he was looking for I took a sharp intake of breath Jace looking at me apologetically I shrugged my shoulders saying "It's fine" brushing it off
"This is my beta Jace" Raven said his eyebrows raised and I nodded "Left the old pack huh?" I asked and Jace shrugged "My mates there and I would do everything for her"
"Finally a normal wolf" I said with a bright smile
"Xavier?" Jace asked looking behind me and I tensed before slowly turning there he is with Jenna - duh
"Hey guys" Raven said with a sarcastic tone he put his arms around my shoulders pulling me closer to him "Just took my girl on a date" Raven said
I want to strangle the universe and yell "Die!Die!" at her face
"Babe!" A girl voice yelled and I turned to face a beautiful brunette running towards Jace tackling him with a tight hug
I wanted to coo "Aww they have a functional relationship, didn't know it actually existed"
Universe opened her universey mouth to say something but I mentally snapped at her "Shut up everything's your fault"
"Guys this is my most beautiful lovely mate, Paris" Jace introduced and I smiled "Hey I'm ash" I said with a bright smile
"She's my mate" Raven added and I tried not to show my surprise, Jace's eyebrow rose but he said nothing
"You guys look perfect for each other" Paris gushed before looking at Raven
"Alpha" Paris said with a slight bow towards Raven "Xavier, Jenna" she greeted with a little wave
"You guys want to eat or something?" Paris asked "Uh yeah!"I said heading inside Pizza hut
4 okay and a half alright I'll stop lying 5, fine 6... and 3/4 Pizza slices after
"I have to go to the comfort room" Paris excused herself "Me too" liar-selfish-matestealer-Jenna chirped
"I'll guard the door" Jace said making me look at him bemused
Raven's phone rang and he looked at it before standing up "I have to take this" he winked at me before going out
I tapped my shoes wildly against the floor refusing to look at him
The most awkward of silence befallen upon us
"I tried to call you last night" he said breaking the most awkward of silence
I shrugged "Don't have my phone" I said without looking at him
He opened his mouth to say something but I stopped him "Please don't talk to me" I said and he opened his mouth again but I put up my hand to stop him
"No don't because if I hear you're voice then I grow weak on the inside and I promised myself that I'll stop waiting for our horizon that will never come" I said swiftly
He locked his jaw for a second before nodding "Okay, but I was any going to ask for the bill love" he said calling over the waitress
"IF YOU WANT ME DEAD THEN KILL ME ALREADY WILL YOU STOP MAKING ME SLOWLY DIE OF EMBARRASSMENT!" I mentally screamed at the universe on top of my lungs
