Chapter 1

"Hmm I wonder why McGonagall called us here" Hermione wondered looking around the crowded classroom.

"I dont care as long as I get out of potions"Ron replied with a relieved look,Harry nodded in agreement. Hermione rolled her eyes'' Do you two only care about getting out of class"she thought"What if this is  important"

"I'm surprised that you have enough brain power to care about something Weasel"a voice behind them sneered.The trio spun around and found themselves face to face with no other than Draco Malfoy. Hermione noticed that his usual goons weren't there,they were replaced by a tall dark-skinned boy with with black hair and brown eyes(Blaise for those that might get confused later)and an also tall brown-haired boy with green eyes(Theo).

''I see you changed your goons out for stupider ones"Ron fired back

The Slytherin trio burst out laughing,Hermione face palmed herself while Ron look confused.

''Wow Weasley how can you judge Blaise and Theo when you cant even phrase a sentence right"Draco replied smirking

"And just for your information Weasel-bee Blaise and I are tied for third place in our year"Theo sneered

''I don't know what you're laughing at Malfoy you aren't the smartest cookie in the bunch either''Hermione fired

''Hey''Ron shouted looking hurt,Hermione turned shot him an apology look ,she turned back to Malfoy crossing her arms

''She's right Malfoy,you are behind her in every class''Harry joined in

''I don't remember inviting you into the conversation Potter'' Blaise fired at Harry

''And for YOUR information Malfoy I do have enough brain power to care about somethings while you don't''Ron said putting his hand around Hermione signaling that she was his girlfriend. Hermione blushed and Draco noticed this "I'm pretty sure Granger is out of your league and I'm also pretty sure that she deserves someone who can match her intelligence''Malfoy replied smirking causing Hermione to blush even more.

''I think we're done here''Draco said walking away with Blaise and Theo .

Ron kissed Hermione''What a prat''he said creasing her cheek. Hermione fidgeted,she didn't like that Ron was being so affectionate.For some reason it felt wrong.

Sh moved his hand away from her face''Later''she said uncomfortably,Ron nodded.

''It seems that the war didn't change him at all''Harry said running his fingers through his hair

''And to think that he helped our side during the war''Ron continued

''Just forget about him''Hermione said closing the conversation that she heard almost every day since they got back.The boys shrugged and resumed that conversation between themselves but this time about the upcoming Quidditch season and how they would crush Slytherin.

Hermione sighed she hoped that this year,their last year,they would have matured a little.I guess she was wrong,even after the war Ron acted like a 5 year old while Harry backed him up.

The doors into the classroom flew open causing several students to jump.McGonagall  swept in carrying a very large scroll,she walked up to the middle of the classroom and her bold voice rang out

"I have gathered you here today to announce that there will be a new class" many people groaned while others looked intrigued including Hermione

"Well it's not technically a class it's more of a very big assignment "even more people groaned
