vienna flattened her top as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. she was sporting a pair of light blue skinnies with a white, off the shoulder blouse and some white sneakers.

she applied some matte light brown lipstick and played with the waves she had made in her hair, by plaiting it overnight. vienna was all set and ready to go and pick up her dear friend, finn.
she arrived after some time at christine's house in her white mini. vienna absolutely adored the car that she bought herself after many shifts at the local library and café and a lot of help off her parents.
picking finn up was quite scary for vienna, she was scared he would say he had to quickly change his plans, he didn't even know vienna was coming! she was scared he might see her as desperate.
she checked her phone for the time, 11:48am. she had woken up early for this boy; she had woken up at 8 o'clock for this boy.
that was quite early for her since vienna truly loved her sleep and would rarely remove herself from her bed before 10 o'clock, on days where she didn't have to attend school.
silly she thought to herself, one should never put themselves through an early morning for a boy. but she knew deep down that she was doing this all for the right reasons and he wasn't just any boy, he was her boy, whether he accepted it or not.
as she got out of her car and locked the door, she became slightly nervous.
"stop this, you can do this, it's only a simple outing vienna, come on. pull yourself together." she whispered to herself.
vienna knocked softly on the door three times and waited patiently for someone to answer. someone began unlocking the door and it opened to reveal woman, maybe in her late 30s.
the woman smiled at vienna, "hello my dear, you must be vienna?" she said quietly.
vienna simply nodded.
"ah well, finn is in the guestroom unaware of you being here. are we surprising him?"
"that's the plan." vienna replied with a blush.
"alrighty, just go up those stairs and take the first left and you'll find him there." vienna nodded, "but i must warn you my dear, brace yourself! he might be in his underwear."
vienna laughed at this, "i'll be sure to knock and have my hands ready to cover my eyes."
"oh you better! the young boy shocked me last night when i asked how his day went. he was in bloody boxers! there, all casual, reading a book on his bed. oh dear lord, i must have squealed so loudly! i'll definitely be hearing about this from dylan." the woman exclaimed. "and i mustn't forget," vienna raised her eyebrows, "i'm christine but you probably already knew that! what i wanted to say is whilst finn is here, you're more than welcome to come over and join us for lunch or dinner sometime!"
"oh no, i couldn't." vienna insisted.
"oh but you could! don't you worry, you'd be no bother whatsoever. finn told me you have a sister too, bring her if you would like to."
"well thankyou, you're too nice though! even to a stranger."
"the amount i've heard from dylan and finn makes me feel like i know you well enough. now, you better get up there!"
vienna nodded, "thank you, i'll try my best to drop by again." and she made her way up the stairs and found herself infront of the guest room door.
thank goodness it was closed she thought as she knocked.
"come in, i'm decent this time christine!" a masculine voice called out.
vienna opened the door to see a fully clothed finn reading his book, whilst lounging on his bed.
"what can i do for—" he stopped once he realised it was vienna. "what're you doing here vi? i thought we planned that i would come pick you up instead and then bring you here?" he said getting up from his bed and walking towards her.
