Chapter Eighteen Part Two

"Well hello guys" I answered the door to let Robert, Mo and Carmen in.

"Happy Christmas" they greeted me with a hug and a kiss.

"Aunty look what Santa got me" Carmen held up her doll.

"I guess you were very good this year" I picked her up, "I think Santa stopped here last night and left some gifts."

"Really?"

"Yup. Under the tree, Jason, Tamara, Jacinda and Kiera are over by the tree waiting to open them. You wanna go see?"

"Yes aunty" she answered exactly.

I put her back on the ground so she can ran over to the tree. It's the day after Christmas so our friends came over – Robert, Mo. Carmen, Bonzo, Pat, Jason, Jonsey, Maureen, Tamara, Jacinda, and Kiera. It was a full house yet again. I really wanted to do something for the kids so the girls and I decided to do something before the boys go on tour next week. One last gathering of the year. All the kids are in the living room while the women are in the kitchen and the boys in the basement.

"You sure you don't need any help?" Pat asked taking a sip of wine.

"You guys are guest. The one who should really be helping me is Jimmy but he's not." I said taking a look at the ham.

"How are you two doing since Scarlett's been around?"

"Besides having stupid arguments over money? We're pretty good."

"Why?" Maureen asked.

"Jimmy wants me to tour with Zeppelin, which would be amazing to do again, but I have to watch Scar. He keeps insisting that we get a baby sitter while I'm on stage but I don't want that cause I want to save money."

"Robert has told me that whenever they go out to eat or something, he's very cheap" Mo spoke."

"But when it comes to me or Scar he's not" I mentioned, "Plus I have the feeling that the only reason why he spent the money he did on the ring was to make me stay because he cheated on me and didn't want me to leave him. It's not so much that I don't appreciate it but he needs to learn where to spend the right money and where to do so and a baby sitter who's willing to tour isn't going to be cheap and when he finds out he's not going to pay."

"Speaking about that, do you think he'll cheat on you again?" Pat asked.

"Personally yes but what happens on tour is different from what happens home. It's just a big slap in the face when it happens at home."

"I know that Robert sleeps with women on tour but if he did it home, I don't know what I would do. I understand that you get lonely on the road so it's whatever, I would do the same but home is a different story. Your home with me and only me."

"What she said" Pat spoke up, raising her glass.

We all did the same before taking a sip. It's nice to know that others have the same feeling as me. It's true. What happens on tour happens on tour but when your home don't even think about doing it.

"Speaking about that, do you think he'll cheat on you again?" Pat asked Hazel.
