(11) Years Later

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.

THIS CHAPTER HAS BEEN EDITED (FINALLY).

ARABELLA'S P.O.V

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.

"Wake up Ella; we have new books for you."

Sweet dreams were made of candy, rainbows, and fictional characters. Not annoying, adopted, British uncles. I suspected that Kol was the mastermind in my waking up this morning, if his voice next to my ear was any hint. Normally I wouldn't fall for anything that Kol would tell me, but I was half-conscious and still trying to decipher reality from my mind. I slurred an answer as I turned around and faced him. I gave him a smile and almost slipped back into blissful dreams. Read: ALMOST.

As soon as I felt myself sleeping back into dreamland, a cold and wet substance hit my skin causing me to jump up and be alert. I saw Kol smirking in front of me with Klaus shaking his head behind his younger brother. Klaus ran out of the house calmly (#fled) after he saw my murderous face. Kol saw it too, but he just chose to ignore the drop of the temperature around him.

"Top of the morning to ya!" he exclaimed, a flamboyant bounce in his step as he backed out of the room subtly. I glowered at him as he chuckled nervously.

"You're not Irish," I said stiffly. He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, "I don't know if you're decision to douse me with cold water while still half-conscious was brave or just plain idiotic."

"Come on E," he said as I advanced, "It was just for fun!"

"FUN IS WATCHING MOVIE MARATHONS, LISTENING TO MUSIC, AND READING BOOKS!" I yelled. He covered his ears and grimaced.

"No need to yell love," he mumbled. "If I had known that you would be a buzz kill about it, I never would have volunteered to wake you up in the first place. Crazy cat lady."

I ignored his last line and instead facepalmed, "For a thousand year old guy, you're extremely childish."

Kol pouted and was about to answer when there was a knock on my door. My best friend, and Kol's girlfriend, opened the door peeking inside cautiously.

"Are you decent?" she asked. I shot her a weird look.

"I wouldn't be in here if she was love," Kol said winking at the dark haired girl. Jennalyn rolled her eyes and strolled in, dressed in her leather glory. I grimaced at her choice of fashion, though I knew I was being hypocritical. I do like a bit of leather.

"Get your boyfriend out of my room bestie," I start as I turn around and cross my arms, "Before I throw a tantrum and end up breaking his neck."

I pick at my nails nonchalantly as I turn and see the exasperated look on Jennalyn's face. Kol has a look of horror and slight disbelief.

"You wouldn't do that," he said. I smirked and leaned a little bit to the front, tilting my head to the right slightly.

"Try me."

I watch in satisfaction as the Original Vampire ran away screaming about how I was too much like Niklaus for my own good. Jennalyn rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Y'all are acting like a bunch of kids," she said in her fake southern drawl. I raise a brow at her obviously fake impersonation.

"You've done better accents than that best," I chide. She glared at me.

"It's hard to practice okay?!" she exclaimed. She pouted and turned around, ignoring my incredulous look.

"Who's childish now?!" I yelled after her. Chuckling, I close the door telekinetically.

"BTW," I heard her yell, "Klaus mentioned that you need to be at my house by 4."

"Clear," I answer shuffling through my room idly. I look at the clock and sighed when I saw that it was just 10 o'clock in the morning. I looked at my organized room and grimaced when I saw the wet spot on my bed.

"Great, I need a new comforter," I frowned, "Kol is so stupid."

I sigh as I went into my bathroom. I lift the comforter up with my Psychokinesis and frown as I will it into the hamper. I wince as a sharp pain sparked in my mind, a result of using Psychokinesis too much. Taking off my clothes, I decided to take a nice warm shower.

It took me an hour to get dress and finish showering. When I looked backed at the clock, I saw it was 11 only. Sighing, I went down the hall and into Kol's room to see if there was anything I could use against him. My green eyes widened when I saw the mess.

Pizza boxes, plates with old pie, a dead dog (what the hell was a dead dog doing in his room in the first place?) and a bra (no surprise there. Horny vampire teens, can't keep their hands off each other). His bedsheets were crumpled and on the floor and his X-box and T.V. was still on. His room smelt like mold and death (probably dog. Or the cat, is that a cat? WHAT IS THAT?). Frowning, I Astral projected myself in two and began to clean his room.

I finally got it decent. I threw out the dead dog and dead...hybrid...thingy. I threw away the pizza boxes, swept the floor, washed his windows, cleaned his bed, and organize stuff. I sprayed Febreeze around his room and added a car refresher near his air conditioner. Feeling accomplished, I summoned my projection back and went downstairs to watch some Korean Dramas.

I passed Elijah and Rebekah's room knowing that their rooms were clean. I also avoided Klaus's room because 1) I don't want to know what he has in there, 2) he might kill me if I touch his stuff (highly unlikely, everybody loves me); 3) he has his hybrids for that. I got some caramel popcorn from the fridge and sat down on the couch. I floated my laptop from my room, ignoring the headache that I have, and hooked it up to the T.V.

I went through 2 episodes of Kill Me, Heal Me and tried not to fangirl over the beauty that is Shin Se Ki. I looked at the clock and mumbled a curse. I grabbed the keys to my Teal Vespa and grabbed my helmet along the way. Turning the engine on, I started my drive to the Salvatore Boarding House, curious of why Klaus wanted us there.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.

I am hurting and sore from basketball practice. I can't run that much or else I might feel faint. But I can still shoot those hoops.

Here it is the update/revision for today. I just change my writing style, fixed some grammar, changed some scene, added new material, and tried to indirectly characterize Arabella/Ella. I noticed that I was writing people out of character and I am fixing that.

Anyhow, I hope that you guys enjoy this and I hope that you continue to read this story.
