Harry didn't know how long it had been since Ron left. Maybe a month or two. He couldn't remember how long he had been away from Atticus. It was all one long blur.

He could hear Hermione outside of the tent, sniffling, trying to conceal her sadness. He could hear the rustling of leaves and his friend mumbling to herself. He couldn't really hear what she was saying, or if she was actually saying anything. Maybe all this time alone was getting to him, to them.

"Christmas is coming soon." Hermione had said to Harry softly one night. He nodded numbly, never removing his eyes from the radio that was playing. He remembered hearing the radio show that the Twins had created. He remembered the sadness that built up in his heart when he heard the names of the wizards and witches who had lost their lives. He remembered the dread of one day hearing Atticus's name or any other of his friends names.

But, he couldn't help but listen today. He just felt the need to listen today. Potterwatch was playing through out the silent tent. The two friends listened intently to Lee Jordan and Fred Weasley talking of the recent news surrounding the upcoming war in the wizarding world. But, when Lee and Fred, a.k.a. River and Rapier, introduced their guest, they had captured Harry's undivided attention.

"We are pleased to welcome, Firefly. We know it must have been absolute hell trying to get away from the death eaters prying eyes." Lee said sullenly.

"Not really, they are bloody fools." Firefly had laughed softly. Harry's heart had began to beat wildly in his chest.

"Is that A-" Harry quickly cut Hermione off with a sharp nod and a shaky intake of breath. It had been so long since he had heard her voice. Tears blurred his vision, but he wouldn't let Hermione see him cry.

"Tell me Firefly, what has happened to Hogwarts since Snape has been appointed Headmaster?" Fred had asked her, ending the lighthearted laughter. Atticus cleared her throat.

"I-It's been very different from the Hogwarts we all have come to know and love. Uh, i can't really say much else. The death eaters have taken to patrolling the halls during the night, the teachers have stopped reporting any trouble the students would cause in order to avoid the harsh punishments." Harry could hear any trace of happiness leave her voice. It was replaced with a cold, harsh, edge. It sent shivers down his spine.
"The harsh punishments? What do you mean?" Lee asked.

Harry could hear her breath become slightly harsher. His heart ached for her.
"T-The punishments, they have become more than a regular detention. The death eaters, mainly the Carrows, will take the students into the Great hall. They will chain us up on the walls and, uh, they will torture us." Atticus voice had gotten slightly louder and more angrier.

"W-What do you mean us? Does this include the younger students?" Fred asked shocked.

"No, the D.A. and any other willing volunteers will take their place if they do get in trouble. But, they have been too scared to act out. Its mainly just the D.A. and well, me i guess." Atticus laughed softly.

"Is there anything else you want to add? Anything you want to tell the listeners?" Fred asked her.

"Hogwarts is in good hands. I promise you that the students are in good hands. The D.A. will not stop watching out for the students and when its time, i promise we will fight." She paused and took a breath. "And, Harry, if you are listening, Merlin I hope you are listening, I love you. I love you so damn much, please, come back to me soon."

"Thank you, Firefly, be safe."

Harry gasped harshly, tears rushing down his face. He could hear the heartbreak leaking throughout Atticus's voice. His hands shook harshly with every word that left her mouth. He could faintly hear Hermione asking if he was okay, but he couldn't find the strength to say anything. He couldn't find his voice to say anything.

It was this moment when Harry realized that he would do what ever it took to get back to the girl he loves.
