Chapter 9

I open the front door and I almost want to turn around and head home put on my adult onsie and watch pretty little liars.

The party is insane music is blaring I'm surprised the police haven't been called. there's people every dancing and making out.

I knew Jeff throws crazy parties but I thought I'd never be able to actually go to one. As soon as I step foot inside the famous Jeff Bronson is standing in front of me

"Well well well if it isn't Elena I heard puberty finally caught up to you but I had to see it to believe it and I definitely believe it" Jeff says as he look me up and down. I forgot what a jerk and a flirt he was, well I knew he was a flirt but he had never flirted with me

"Nice to see you too Jeff glad I finally got invited to one of your parties. now if you'll excuse me I'm going to get me a drink" I give him a sarcastic smile as I grab Kayla hand and the other girls follow me into the kitchen

"How do girls fall for him" I say once we get into the kitchen

"I think it's the charming smile that makes you forget what a jerk he is but as soon as he opens his mouth you remember"  shay said with a laugh

"Who wants a drink?" I ask them

"Not me cheap beer is gross" Vanessa shakes her head

"Yeah I'm good too. Let's go into the living room. I'll see you later" shay says as her and Vanessa walk into the living room

"Okay stay together don't do anything stupid" I say as they walk off

"Let's gets something to drink" Kayla says while walking to the keg, I follow and see josh getting a drink

"Hey" I say to him

He looks surprised to see me "hey I never thought I would see you at a party"

I see him look me up and down but not in a creepy way like Jeff did "yeah yeah pour me a cup"

"Are you sure you want to drink I don't know if you should? I don't think Caleb would want you too either"

"You do realize me and Caleb are the same age? and one cup won't kill me" I say as I pour myself a drink

I can tell he doesn't want me to drink but he doesn't say anything else about it "are you having fun yet?"he ask

"Umm not yet but I'm sure I will. Where Caleb?" I ask him

"He somewhere around here probably up to no good" he says and we both laugh

"Isn't it great that Elena back the gangs together again" Kayla says while giving me a side hug. I know where she getting at she knew how much I loved with josh

"Yeah it is great. we all missed you Ellie" josh says smiling at me hearing him say my nickname makes my heart beat fast 

"Of course you guys did I'm great" I say with a dramatic hair flip

"Yeah you are" he says low

I was about to say something but the devil walked up next to him and by the devil I mean Tiffany "hey Babe" she says to josh as she grabs his shirt collar and kisses him

I try not to be affected by it but it just brings back memories from the night I told him I was in love with him and he walk away and hooked up with Tiffany.

She lets go of him and looks at me with a smirk that I want to slap off her face.

"Hi Elena didn't see you there" she says still having that stupid smirk on her face and
josh looks uncomfortable

"I'm sure you didn't" I say with a fake smile

"Let's go into the living room Elena" Kayla  says grabbing my hand

"Sorry I know that had to be hard on you and I'm sure you wanted to punch her because well we all do" kayla said as we walk out of the kitchen

"I'm fine, yes I would love to punch her but I'm over josh" I say as I chug my beer

"Easy there tiger" kayla says with a laugh

"This is my first party back I want to have fun and enjoy myself now let's dance" I say
